That's easy -technology. UFO phenomenon and all paranormal phenomenon follow right along with technology and current socially accepted view of reality.

The Scopes Monkey Trial was approximately one generation in public education prior to widespread belief in UFOs and ETs replacing "evil spirits", "witches on brooms", elves, fairies, etc.

The UFOs do things that seem to defy the laws of physics because they aren't what they seem to be. They are inter-dimensional beings who have been referred to in the past as elves, fairies, djinn, angels, demons, trickster spirits, etc.

any ghost video u see where a human or other recognizable shape is fake. using night vision you would be able to catch a glimpse of distorted light. but ppl can see ghosts as recognizable shapes that are provided by our minds.

We each have our own opinions on the matter which is what you were asking for. Though usually with those opinions we have also already formulated our own theories and we tend to wear those blinders - I do it too.

The important thing is to share information, discuss ideas, and at least remain open to all possibilities and willing to hear all valid points.

If the world new how much weaponry was circling the Earth and able to fall down on them they might be upset.

So when junk fall out of the sky or spy unmanned vehicles are spotted the sheeple are happy in knowing it's just space aliens.
