The article does not mention what the pollutants are or if they even know what the pollutants are. I remember reading about an oil spill that could reach Lake Michigan. [link to www.bukisa.com] [link to www.worldwaterwars.com] [link to michiganmessenger.com] Seems to me nobody should be buying that water. |

[link to www.bukisa.com] [link to www.worldwaterwars.com] [link to michiganmessenger.com] Seems to me nobody should be buying that water. that oil spill was along the kalamazoo river and was contained prior to entering lake michigan. so they say. yeah, nobody should try buying lake michigan water, and we won't have to hunt anybody down, and make them swim with the fishes, capice? After this fish kill I am sure they would change their minds. I find it odd that there is no mention of what pollutants or even tests of some nature to determine what pollutants. Just seems "fishy" to me. (pun intended) |

They are good with pollution control these days especially in WI but with people living along the lake shit happens. They fill up with algae, but many like it because it feeds the fish, though it makes the water smell and unpleasant to swim in. Most lakes out here are horribly filled with algae because of farm chemicals that get in them.. some are worse then others, but they all have good fishing. Not many swim in them. |

Beautiful homes on a lake surrounding a Nuclear facility. Big fish from the warm water, and yes people eat them. [link to www.washingtonpost.com] crazy shit [link to en.wikipedia.org] |
