Re: Suggest a beer!
Thank you to whoever suggested Fat Tire...picked some up when I was out doing last minute grocery shopping.

Only one problem, I've had two already. It's only 5pm, family is going to start coming over around 8pm....Ima gonna go to Christmas Eve Mass drunk...is that wrong...lol

Amor, if that's wrong, I don't ever want to be right.
I'll be sitting in hell next to you.

How you enjoying that Fat Tire?

It's gooood. ohyeah

Thank god I don't have to do anything tonight. The Aunts do all the cooking, the cousins watch the kiddo. Just enjoying mah beer...

Good, glad you enjoyed it.

Savor it. God knows I'm enjoying mine as well.

I hope you picked up more than just 6 though. Gotta get that Christmas hangover in there tomorrow.

Someone else mentioned Abita earlier in the thread and I couldn't find it to the 4 stores I went into :(

I have all week next week to find it though!

wanted to buy some good stuff today but the local beer store still can't get the good stuff, so went home with nothing. So still sober after two months, ready to continue.

suggestion? Anything Scandinavian...Mikkeller, Närke, Nogne, Midtfyns, Haandbryggeriet, stuff like that :) And Dutch favs De Molen are recommendable :) enjoy

Lion's Head. A Pennsylvania beer from Wilkes-Barre. A super good pilsner and the price is right. Everyone I ever had try it loves it. I used to drink Coors but went to Lion's Head. Google it and you will see what I mean.

Day after Christmas.

Sittin' in a country that speaks two languages, of which I speak (barely) one.

My wife has started talking about separation.

She left the house for a couple of days and here I am...
alone with GLP.

So, in honor and anticipation of my rapidly approaching life of suck,
I drink

A Moinette Biologique.
An unfiltered, weiss style that tastes like heaven and, at 7.5 percent alcohol, makes life seem (for a few hours) that
it's not at your throat.

HoHOHo.
Who knows how long?

Re: Suggest a beer!
Here's one out of left field which no one will believe. I promise it will sound awful, but taste good.

So I am always on low carb diets, and if I want the rare beer, I drink Michelob Ultra Lime and Cactus. It has a refreshing astringent taste, almost like a Riesling white wine.

So I'm buying a six of that at a check out counter, and some 20ish girl suggests I try their "Raspberry Pomegranate" flavor.

Naturally, I said "yeah, sure" thinking "how sucky does that sound for a beer flavor?"

Then I later tried it, and it was good! I am not making this up! Plus I have no commercial affiliation with any alcohol manufacturer.

Not the Tumbler Ale.
I will buy it for this weekend. I have a whole new list of beer from this thread set up for this weekend.

I just need to remember to stay away from GLP while I'm trying them out.
