Look up object relations theory...

when people don't have normal internal objects they are forced to develop objects that are largely narccisstic in nature, hate is a false object created by those who lack healthy internal objects...

without internal objects, the ego cannot develop normally, so those with false internal objecs, have deficits in terms of ego strengths and are prone to identify with those groups that are condemnatory, which is really a projection of their own internal emotional conflict...

I hear so many hateful things here that don't seem to have a logical reason.

I think people might get caught up in just acting certain ways because they don't pay attention to themselves or realize what they are doing, that other people are human as well.

Since I have been at GLP, it seems to me that Nikki and Gaia have been the primary targets of some nasty, unwarranted stuff. There have been others too, but not as much nor as bad.

620 deems himself worthy to speak for god and assumes he is in a position to gauge Gods relationship and opinion of Nikki as non-existent. My understanding is that Jesus took in those that others (such as yourself) considered wayward and made them his disciples and actually reserved a spot for them in his kingdom. Also the thief and the other guy who were crucified next to him.

You're probably joking, but please consider that calls for execution and infantcide may not really be that considerate. Talking about human life in extremely disrespectful ways. That is what motivated me to write this thread, Thread: MUSLIMS AND ISLAM: Some information!

For trying to provide information to people about a massive world religion, I was attacked and accused of many things! It was a good experience, because it really made clear to me the benefits of maintaining one's own dignity and trying to keep a gentle and kind attitude towards all, even thanking people who had accused me of things.

No I dont have that skin...is rather hurting what is going on here around.

The judgmental are those who think they know something, when they don't really know if they know anything with certainty, so they only guess.

If one believes in God, they may believe that God is what sustains everything, what everything came from and exists by, and is also the only that may have true knowledge and awareness of reality while encompassing all knowledge and information. Furthermore, those who believe in God may believe that God is the witness to absolutely everything, and God is the best judge of one's conduct. So even if no one witnesses our goodness or good deeds, a believer in God may at least gain some heart in believing that God is aware of our conduct and intentions always.

Also, many people believe in an eventual day of judgment, where God will call people to account for how they behaved in life. So that should be even more motivation for those who believe to try to be the first and foremost in conduct they deem excellent and with best intent.

Holding something (like hate) up to ridicule robs it of it's power. Arrogance, tyranny, stupidity, superstition, narrow mindedness; none can tolerate being laughed at for very long. I may someday start a thread devoted to the subject of humor as a weapon. It has a long and interesting history.
