They've simply thrown in the towel and given up on figuring out what the reality around them is all about. To me it's a very low vibratory state of existing and I sometimes get nauseous just being around such people when they express themselves as such. That's the true anchor I think that holds us back, the people tht have given up. At least the ones who lend their power to these authority figures are somewhat attentive to such matters, consciously speaking.
