perhaps christians should stop pushing their ideals upon everyone. door to door....phone calls....TV preachers bs old folks...dont forget the millions killed in the name of God. ...and what about the murder of OBGYN's and the bombing of clinics?...its no wonder a good portion of the world hates christians....very much like, and in the same ways the usa is hated. people must be allowed to choose.

Most absolutely refuse to believe it or even look at the facts. They just throw out slurs towards Christians, claim Christians can't be persecuted, and anything else they can think of to ignore reality. If all else fails, they bring up the past (as if wrongs being done by Christians in the past some how justifies wrongs being done to Christians in the present).

Jesus said in the last days..."you--meaning those who are Christians---will be hated for MY name sake...

While at the same time understand that for the Christian, His love for God pushes him forward to work as God has called in the Spirit of Love. Not in a Spirit of hate as is the manner of some. For the one who considers himself a Christian it is a life style, a way of life it is never something one turns on and off at the flip of a switch. It is ever present.

I had one former colleague put on her Facebook that she should not have to say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, and that this country was based on Christianity. She really could not see how it could be offensive despite working in a Native museum that honestly interprets the history and culture. Christianity has done more incalculable damage to Native folk than any singular reason, but still the prevailing Christianity is infallible idealism lives on.

I feel sorry for anyone who is persecuted for their beliefs, of this I am certain. But please do not, for one moment, believe that Christianity does not have it coming. Years and years of stupidity are now being shown for what it was.
