Thanks for collective effort getting the links and helping to put things together.

Keep thinking that Methane - or "a gas" is only thing that can kill Fish, Birds, Animals, etc

Gas may be in water and levels of atmosphere.
It just makes most sense, compared to other causes.

I am seeing a lot of common patterns here:

> No signs of external injury such as gunshot wounds.
> Birds seem to have all dropped dead at once and fallen directly to the ground.
> Birds showed signs of trauma such as broken necks and other bones, but this could certainly have been caused if they dropped straight down and hit the ground.
> No obvious indication of disease.
> Seems to be affecting mostly a single species in each location.
> Some birds showed blood clots.

This also leads to some questions on the different causes:

> Disease - how could it strike so quickly that it would take down a flock or portion of a flock at one time? If it is a disease it would have to attack and kill in a matter of minutes - if true this would be truly frightening.
> Poisoning - this seems more likely - perhaps the birds all drank from the same water source, but still - why would so many die at once and how could so many locations be poisoned?
> Accident - How likely is it that so many groups of birds collided with an object (power line, building, vehicle)?
> Weather - What would cause birds to just drop dead in so many different places? Cold weather seems unlikely, and in several locations there was no mention of storms. Plus, although lot of individual birds die in harsh weather conditions, how many die in groups like this?
