Le Tour de Lance

I´m going to watch now, the guy is amazing, talking about devotion.

Remember however that it´s all about psychology.

If I would have a near-death experience and a big ego I would probably prove to the world that I survived and that I´m still pretty fucking cool too, I guess.

Lance checks out all routes of the Tour way in advance, we goes up the mountain 7 times in advance to find out how much of his energy he can give at which part of the track, etc.

In the meanwhile, Ullrich is having a lager and Bratwurst, he doesn´t care, he never had cancer, he doesn´t need to prove himself as MUCH as Lance does.

Agreed, it´s all psychological.
Makes me wonder about the psych. of a guy like Ullrich, who has already gone into the record books for the most 2nd place finishes in the tour.

He and Armstrong were riding side by side and chatting for the first few kilometers this morning, and shaking hands.
