So I second that motion. *it's all about loving your work* "Today young men on acid realized all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration... that we are all one conciousness experiencing ourselves subjectively. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 348276What are you teaching your kids, pet?. Polyamorous, not polygamous. I taught my kids that being smart was more important that wearing eyeliner and being judged upon their looks. My daughter was not allowed to wear make up until she was fifteen. Individuals have to be licensed in EVERYTHING else, but any friggin dysfunctional freak show can breed. There is something unsettling about that. Sometimes I am grateful that I don't have children. One of the main reasons we do not is because we do not want them exposed to what goes on in this society. It's twisted. And they have learned our lessons well. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1216877Yeah, if the child is raised by the media and MTV mentality that is EXACTLY what they will become. It is entirely evident and deeply unfortunate that so many parents view this as acceptable behavior, simply because it has become the 'norm'. I find it sick and disgusting. Quoting: D's PetThey sure do make it seem that way; though I spent several years in the deep south and I never came across any such individuals. Alot of this simply has to do with the degradation of society. With all this 'reality' show idiocy and people parading themselves around for attention and money. IDK... it's poisonous. As an adult, I get a kick out of some slop tv here and there but I swear I would never allow my children to be subjected to such shows...and it's children/teens that the majority of this shit is geared towards. Mature girls (18+) should have silicone breasts and a trimmed body to feel welcome. Adult guys should work their abs, no matter how stupid in their head they are, surface seems to prevail. You turn your little girls into princesses, to make yourself feel proud. And look at all those unnatural white teeth with or without feelings in the USA. You think that when you lift the surface, you lift the inside. Thats not how it works, and anyone with some selfrespect and dignity looks beyond that. I don't feel sorry for you OP to be honest, it has been your own decision to get that shallow. I just hope you dont fall back into some god / jesusthing for feeling sorry about it. Take the advice and move forward. |

Parents are buying this stuff for their daughters so it's pretty obvious to me that they are insecure themselves and want their daughters to be popular (or probably more popular than they were). However, they don't understand that popularity really means working on the personality/attitude/talents of the child and not merely making her into a whore. Having lots of boyfriends and screwing only gets you so far...but then, stupid parents, stupid kids. |
