These shows like "Toddlers and Tiaras" and "Little Miss Perfect" are very disturbing to me.

Five years old and dressed like strippers- this cannot be good for them.

The way you let your husband treat you (he can be polygamous but you can't) is much more disturbing to me, than a tiara.

It's intensely disturbing. Those shows physically sicken me. Individuals have to be licensed in EVERYTHING else, but any friggin dysfunctional freak show can breed. There is something unsettling about that.

Sometimes I am grateful that I don't have children. One of the main reasons we do not is because we do not want them exposed to what goes on in this society. It's twisted.

Living in CA is bad enough, but I would never enforce the idea that my daughter's worth was based on her looks. She took bellet lessons and riding lessons, not pole dancing lessons.

Is the pageant thing more of a southern cultural thing? It seems that way from these shows. Mothers who were pageant girls have gotten old and fat and now pimp their daughters to an audience of god knows who.

I can't take the kiddie pageants ... well ... I can't take those moms
and I can't find the vomit smiley either but that's what I want to do.

Just a simple result of the choices you make in your own society.

Mature girls (18+) should have silicone breasts and a trimmed body to feel welcome.

Adult guys should work their abs, no matter how stupid in their head they are, surface seems to prevail.

You turn your little girls into princesses, to make yourself feel proud.

And look at all those unnatural white teeth with or without feelings in the USA. You think that when you lift the surface, you lift the inside. Thats not how it works, and anyone with some selfrespect and dignity looks beyond that.

I don't feel sorry for you OP to be honest, it has been your own decision to get that shallow. I just hope you dont fall back into some god / jesusthing for feeling sorry about it.
