A Hoyt is always good. about 85lb.
98% of the earth's population could not even pull an 85# ordinary compound bow.
OP -- go to a good archery store and talk to a pro. The money you save buying on-line will be totally wasted trying to get your bow setup and adjusted correctly. A bow must be adjusted to your body. An improperly set up bow has almost zero value. The crossbow is an exception to this rule.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1219388This is good advise....they will properly measure you for draw....they will also spine your arrows correctly for the poundage you pull. At a pro shop, you will get a custom build right, the first time. You will also get proper instructions on form. etc...overall, you will be most successful if you buy from a pro- shop.
