TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT BIGFOOT! They were in my YARD !

I have had a lot of experiences with bigfoot. I would go into the woods near my house and beat a stick on the trees and if they were close they would respond. The first time I got a response, 3 came around me and screamed whooping sounds toward me. I never saw them but I could hear them moving loudly on 2 feet. They really don't care about us and try to stay away. They last time I was near them, one was clapping 2 rocks together in the brush. After 15 minutes something roared at me from about 10 feet away to my left in the thick brush. I never saw it but it sounded like 20 men roaring at once. It scared me so much that I won't go into the woods anymore.

The woods are dark and deep ...

I have no doubt there are things in the woods that "shouldn't" be there ... like cougars in PA, WV even NJ. A credible man in WV claimed a couple years ago that he was cornered in a deer stand by an African lion.

I don't have any experiences to share, but I believe.

I live in the western foothills to the catskills..and waaay out, miles from a neighbor. I have felt bigfoot's presence as well. No visual sightings though.

They move in-between dimensions thru inter-dimensional doors. Same as that creature in Mexico.

A nonhuman person, but a person.

Then they are similar to the rock soldiers from dimension x on the old TMNT show.

What I have gathered through the years:

They are very intelligent, and extremely shy. They are experts in camoflage. Making sitings very rare.

They have a very distinct odor, some have described it to be like rotten trash. Diet and matted hair contribute to this.

They prefer thickly wood terrain with near by fresh water.

It's my belief that they are mostly herbivores but do dine on fish hence the smell.

They tend to be loners but can be found in small family groups occasionally.

They like to bed down like most large apes by making a bed from broken branches.

They have a lonesome sounding call that when actually heard strikes fear in the hearts of the most courageous of men.

I have been fascinated by the creatures since childhood and believe there is nothing supernatural about then. They are one day going to be much like the Panda Bear, once thought of as legend but found to be very real.

OP, I have seen hard evidence, but have not actually seen the 'squatch.

What I saw made me a true believer, but I will not detail the evidence here.

There have been sightings around here where I live. Now I've got the creeps.

The interdimensional creature idea has always sounded right to me.

I'm interested in this subject.

I don't think I've ever heard a story about them being violent.

I listen to a podcast = mysterious universe. I've heard a few old, interesting tales.

- One old tale tells of a mt climber in Nepal. His climbing team had been killed, and he found himself alone in a storm hi on a mt. He curled up in a lil cave - figuring he would prob die. He awoke at least once to find a huge hairy creature wrapped around him (spooning). Woke in the morning to find evidence something had been in there with him.

He figures the creature saved him.


Another story of a prospector that was kidnapped and carried to a BF home turf. Funny story. Might find it on google. He was not hurt.

My husband saw a mountain lion jump off a rock overhang and nearly get hit by a coal truck in front of him in West Virginia.

And interesting about the lion, hadn't heard that one before. Of course I'm sure you're aware of many mtn lion and panthers being seen all over the U.S. and U.K.

Yes, but at the time he saw it, the official line was "there are no mountain lions east of the Mississippi except in Florida".

Around that same time a cub was hit by a car in Kentucky.

I haven't researched it much lately, so I'm not sure if they changed the official position.

Also, there have been black panther sightings where I live in South Jersey for decades ... I know the lady in this article who saw one in 2007

.. and she was laughed at on the national news. I'm still sore about it!

If they had taken the time to research it, they would have found the there was a rash of black panther sightings and animal killings here in the late 80s/early 90s.

And if they had researched those sightings they would have found corroboration going back to the founding of the town by farmers who named Panther Road and went so far as to put up a panther statue because there were panthers here.

I don't know if they continue to insist there are no such things around here because of ignorance or because they don't want to freak anyone out.

Seeing as how officials refuse to admit to mountain lions, I can't imagine how much evidence would be needed for them to acknowledge bigfoot.

It can be frustrating and I can in part understand the official line...

I think part of it is due to human nature, esp for those who are very left brained. We pride ourselves in not being gullible, to the point of ignoring mounting evidence for fear of appearing foolish.

We all know the saying "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" and I agree with that sentiment.

Except usually people who make that statement refuse to even entertain the claims for more than a cursory glance. They dismiss them almost immediately without at least looking over the evidence carefully.

I attribute it (in part) to big Egos. Many people very proud of their beliefs and seem to prefer to stay locked in a comfortable paradigm that they've created for themselves rather than to admit they don't know everything and to be willing to learn and grow.

There are mountain lions in NY, 2 friends have seen them.

Also find the Bigfoot interdimentional possibility interesting.

Driving with a friend one night to virginia tech on 81 south we saw who we refer to as big foot. It was drizzling rain and there werent many cars on the road. We were between exits pretty much out in the middle of no where. There was a steep hill on the right hand side of the road and we saw something come down and it was about 100 ft infront of us it calmly started walking across the road looked right at the cars coming towards it (mine and there were two more close behind) and continued on its way down the other side of the high way. The strange part about it was it looked like it had black hair but was wearing a hoody with no sleeves. The hood was up and it was definitely a large figure. I wish that i could relive the moment and get a better look at what was going on. For all i know maybe it wasnt big foot maybe there was just a meth lab that a huge black guy was running nearby.

The conditions were just perfect enough that I will never know... Rainy, a little foggy, and around 10 pm during the summer, close enough that you get a decent look but far enough away you cant be sure. Anyways figured id share my story.

As far as I know, this is just an alien species.

I know there were reports of them in Prattsburg and Naples NY. Also up near Canton there is an area where they are often heard more than seen.
