Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1214577In 9:6, John records an awful sentence: Men and women alike will try to die, but will not be able to. Like Job, they will “long for death…. And dig for it more than for hidden treasures” (Job 3:21). But it will elude them. They will cripple and injure themselves but somehow will be unable to finish the job. What an awful time period. Can you imagine wanting to die and not being able to? The Lord refuses to give these rebels any satisfaction. Is God a sadistic God? I do realize that in my location, the bird population has not been as plentiful as previous years but the cause remains a mystery. Quoting: SilverPatriotSeveral years ago, we had an extremely hot dry year and the oak trees failed to produce acorns and the squirrel population was diminished quite a bit however, they appear to have recovered. Yes this stuff has always been going on, the internet is driving people a bit batty and the MSM is also just reporting what all the nuts on the internet are always saying now adays... people always been saying stuff like this, but it was not spread around the whole world like nowadays. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1099882 Canada 01/07/2011 02:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually when you look around Canada's north you can see how much of our forests have been turned into checker boards. ARound my lake when you go to an area that has been forested, even with people planting trees and the such, the land is very unlike how it WAS before the forestry people came in. Basically these areas, when you visit them, look like, at their worst, small warzones. The way the ecology of the area has been torn to shreds doesn't seem to offer a great climate in which the regrowth of said ecology returns. Areas where the ground has been torn up from massive roots transform into little canyons, as rain washes the topsoil and mud away to another area, which then becomes compacted down from the runaway much. This then dries into small areas of clay desert, and then wind pushes a choking dust in every direction, further burrying the good ecology. As the little story above translates over into thousands of similar incidences, it all adds up to you panning your gaze over the area and just seeing obliteration. The trees that tree planters plant have their work cut out for them in the new conditions. |
