I thought it was a planet and my friend said it was a satellite. Weird.

Oh waiuku, thats only 25min drive away from were I am(Tuakau), and waiuku is to the west of me, the direction it came from.

Satellite err, ive seen plenty of them, and this looked weird as hell, plus sattellites normally travel in the same orbital direction, this object turned in south west direction, almost on top of us. But ya never know....im sure it wasnt.......

Do you see them often? I have seen several in the last 6 months. Just lights in the sky like a helicopter, then they speed from one side of the sky to the other at an utterly impossible pace.

Mostly shooting stars, planets and satilights, first time ive seen an object like that, video is a poor reflection of what i saw with my eyes, need a better camera. Ill be keeping an eye out, now thou. Especially now that i know there have been other local sightings :)
