Dough Dude User ID: 1210503 Australia 01/13/2011 12:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I haven't gone and bought one yet...don't watch enough tv to justify it. But I have digital and HD on my old set that isn't flat screen. Wouldn't the same apply to that? Failing to plan, is planning to fail. All intelligent people are conscious, not all conscious people are intelligent. |

The old TV's were cathode ray tubes and basically had a cathode beam that wrote pixels line by line (a 100 times second) so I'm sure it's possine on the old sets, but does not seen as efficient. It was a big deal back then, and now nobody EVER talks about it.. hrmm I wonder why? Media has trained us to laugh at such subjects, associate them with aliens and bigfoot. |

You are on the right track, but haven't thought up anything new. I figured something like this had been posted before - I did a search and came up with nothing - yea I know the idea is not new. I was just trying to make a connection between this and how weird people are acting over the past few years. "God sent me to piss the world off" |

Perhaps it works better after consuming lithium tainted water? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1223238then has anyone actually discovered an interlaced signal (any electrical eng out there to test this) If so, is there any type of filter that can be made. Perhaps it works better after consuming lithium tainted water? I'm sure there are people out there that could probably figure it out. In the days of old TV, you could interlace data in the blank space between the frames of a picture signal. With the new technology, I think it may be carried with each frame of the picture. Basically "message" is flashed then TV picture is flashed Much like you would take a piece of paper with a picture on it and then hide another piece of paper with a picture on it under the origional. Keep in mind that not only do LCDs refresh differently, but they are much slower to update than a CRT. If I want to sit here and read for a while (as I'm doing with GLP right now ) I always use the LCD because it's easier on the eyes. It's a shame too, because I truly like the picture quality of CRTs better. CRT TVs have awesome color quality (although newer LCD stuff does too), but there's the flicker, the nasty 16KHz whine, the heat, the energy usage, etc. Interesting what you say about hiding data -- I know that some older TVs lack sufficient blanking circuitry, and you can see data (like closed captioning) on-screen. There is a push Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1218297to put broadband on them... [link to www.google.com] There's already lots of signals on the power lines. SCADA stuff, automated meter reading, etc. Powerline communication is old tech, although they're figuring out how to get a lot more throughput recently (much to the dismay of some -- look up amateur radio enthusiasts' oppositions to BPL) I actually learned recently that in Australia, they actually inject a 1050Hz ripple into the powerlines to control hot water heaters and stuff. That must wreak havoc with cheaply-made audio equipment! Last Edited by MDZhB on 01/13/2011 12:52 AM |
mayB/mayBnot User ID: 1056222 United States 01/13/2011 12:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I too have written about this and all I can say is what i said before... Use your DVR, put it on the MSM channel. Any will do as they all do the same thing. Record from the end of a commercial through part of the talking heads points...best if you do it during one where they are interviewing Anyone in government. then when you get to the next commercial stop it. replay it frame by frame.. What are you going to see? In the background white swirling concentric circles move around slowly... then you will see RIGHT before the talking head comes on a bright flash of light. It starts in the corner of your screen and moves to the center of the screen and going frame by frame it blinds you... My opinion that is hypnosis....you will also see in the background as the head speaks somewhere in the studio or at the bottom of the screen a swriling circle going around the whole time you are watching them.. Right before they cut to whomeever they are interviewing you will see the bright light move to the center of the screen again... Try it out ..... it's there just moves too fast for you to notice at regular speed.. Jesus is coming soon. Give your life to him. John 3:16-17 God Bless you all. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 502821 United States 01/13/2011 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok guys, I'm really reaching here - but I have a habit of thinking out of the box sometime so bear with me. Quoting: GrendelmortThe new flat screen TVs / Monitors started coming on the scene around 2000. Just like anything else, price kept everyone from running out and buying one at first. Now the price has dropped considerably so that now every one can pretty much afford one. Now I'm not real savvy on how the different types work (LCD, Plasma, LED) but I do know it involves the picture (or picture generating components) cycling on and off each second, fast enough that it is not physically detected bu the naked eye. Thinking along those lines - it would be the perfect carrier for sumbliminal messages. A crude example if this would be a flourescent light. It cycles "on" and "off" approximately 150 times per second and is unpercieved by the human eye. HOWEVER, the Occupational Safety And Health Administration prohibits flourescent lights in machine shops and areas with high speed machinery - why, because (use a high speed lathe for exampe) at certin RPM's the machinery looks as if it's standing still when it is in fact spinning at the same RPM as the light cycles "on" and "off" - a strobe effect if you were. Still with me ? Now for some questions: Why has there been a strong upsurge of people being treated for mental illness since about 2000 ? Why was the .gov so eager to push the new HD TV format, so much so that they gave people the new converter boxes for FREE ? Why are people so hooked on games like WOW, Black Op's and others ? 10 years ago, the subject of mind control and subliminal messages would have labeled someone a kook - but today it is admitted it exists ! Just something that I thought about ...... Flame Away - I'm expecting it Hello, This concept though included audio, visual, and electromagnetic sources...wavelengths, frequencies, expressed through sound, lights, and electromagnetic radiation.... I read a bit about the idea of brain entrainment and it seems to say that brains, maybe mood, thoughts and perception/awareness may be affected all all of those: Brain Entrainment ( [link to en.wikipedia.org] " ...Brainwave entrainment or "brainwave synchronization", is any practice that aims to cause brainwave frequencies to fall into step with a periodic stimulus having a frequency corresponding to the intended brain-state (for example, to induce sleep), usually attempted with the use of specialized software. It purportedly depends upon a "frequency following" response on the assumption that the human brain has a tendency to change its dominant EEG frequency towards the frequency of a dominant external stimulus. Such a stimulus is often aural, as in the case of binaural or monaural beats and isochronic tones, or else visual, as with a dreamachine, a combination of the two with a mind machine, or even electromagnetic radiation. " So yeah, alot of things electromagnetic in nature, such as smartphones and RFID, and certain frequency spectrum (such as HD) really makes me wonder sometimes. |
