The latest report from NetMarketShare puts Chrome at 6.73% market share, ahead of Safari on 4.72% and behind only IE (59.95%) and Firefox (24.59%). Quoting: Mozilla Dev Team 1232163What's more interesting about Chrome is the activity it's enjoying from early adopters and geeks. Our own browser statistics at ReadWriteWeb show that Chrome was used by 17.89% of our readers in April, putting it behind only Firefox (38.95%) and IE (24.76%). Further, our figures show a very clear movement from Firefox to Chrome over the past year. Chrome has gained nearly 11% over the past year, whereas Firefox has lost over 15%. Firefox sucks, Pedro. Recently because of the mysterious plugin-container.exe (Firefox plugin) that eats up 100% of your PC memory, many FF users, including me are abandoning Firefox in huge numbers. The plugin-container.exe secretly seems to be some kind of malware and government spyware and Firefox's responses are more than weird. -Craig Just disable plugin-container like I did, its now fast again!!! |

More people use google chrome than Firefox - don't rule out google as having been bought as a spy. Virus protection or just plain spying and monitoring and recording for governments? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1229339 ![]() 01/16/2011 01:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Move from Firefox to Chrome because the US government is spying on people? rotfl. What's funy is that some people might actually believe this crap and move right into the Lion's pit. Trust me people, if you are against the establishment the last thing you want to do is use anything by Google. Google is now one of the major US/NWO spying and propaganda machines. Everything you type into Chrome's and Google is recorded without you even pressing enter. The goal is to centralize every information about everyone in the world and use powerful profiling artificial intelligence software to find people like us that might pose some kind of threat to the establishment. Just wake the fuck up and do your research but my advice is, stay away from google and facebook. |
