There are several places like that, some human or et heads and shapes, and some animal, US, Canada, S.America. They had to have been lasered into the landscape. Signs of high tech civilizations who could create landmarks only seen by those coming in for a landing. These would have marked who occupied the land, who's territory.

To expand on it, take a look at Bryce Canyon, the Ampitheater, Arches Park. The Ampitheater looks like the remains of gutted highrises along a street and park area.
It's all too uniform to be natural. Cool stuff.
