I have enjoyed plenty and the are very poisonous to the current way of thinking on this planet.

Because I love South Africa and Shrooms I will give all my knowledge on the matter.

I only deal with shrooms someone has given me. More than likely they either sell or have too much of a good conscious to sell you some poisonous mushrooms. In a way they have toxins bc the shroom is made up of psychoactive compounds psilocybin and psilocin which I THINK activate the pineal and pituitary gland. If you have taken a trip before and it was more spiritual than crazy then you understand what I am saying.

Best hunting for 6 weeks beginning July 4th and again for a few weeks around Halloween.
Hunting the day after a rain shower produce best results.

OP - Not sure where you get your info that all mushrooms are poisonous - they simply are not.

I collect my own from the wild and am very much into ID'ing shrooms and their properties aswell as effects...have been for over a decade.

I have taken liberty caps - psilocybins - the active parts of them are indeed a toxin - our livers have to process this toxin (which also happens to give us a 'trip') so before taking any magic shrooms it's a good idea to take MILK THISTLE before dosing up. Milk Thistle herb is a gateway herb for the liver and allows the liver to process poisons without the liver being dumped full of poison from the shrooms. Alot of people suffer with stomach ache when on Liberties - this is why.

Amanitas - most of them are toxic. The toxins are water soluble so boiling them twice and throwing away the water renders them safe to eat. (Google Paul Stamets - his research on regular and magic shrooms is brilliant - he produces his own spores etc...knows his stuff and them some!)

For your information, i personally would not take Amanitas for a 'trip' experience. The effects differ from person to person- i would hate to be the one literally defecating in the corner of a room, drooling and freaking out.

It's not wise to just go outside and start picking shrooms without knowing what you are looking for. Mushroom poisoning is so harsh - i don't think i would feed them to my enemy!
The poisoning isn't instant either - you get ill...as your liver and kidneys fail....then you feel better - before you die. This can take place over a couple of weeks. NOT a nice death.

I have oodles of liberty caps growing on my land and find that 30 dried provide one with a sufficient mind-opening /altering trip. I don't use shrooms recreationally - only for the mind-bending personal experience - i'd rather be alone than with others tripping that's for sure.

Mushrooms like Chaga, Lionsmane, shiitake etc have great beneficial medicinal effects - great for the immune system etc.

Don't believe all mushrooms are poisonous - thats just not true.

If it were not for mushrooms - nothing would exist on this planet. FACT.
