I have a good friend in government that told me a very large order of tampons and other goods had been ordered for storage. He said we will see this with varying types of products.

well they used to use rags, hence the term, they would wash them out after every use and let them dry on bushes not those bushes, shrubbery is a better choice of words,for the sun to bleach them out, plus they didn't have dryers, that' what my mom told me

J&J products are recalled again as a precaution
Although the latest J&J recall does not directly impact consumers, it may cause many to question the reliability and quality of the company’s products. McNeil Consumer Healthcare, part of J&J, in consultation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has voluntarily recalled certain lots of Tylenol 8 Hour, Tylenol Arthritis Pain, and Tylenol upper respiratory products, as well as certain lots of Benadryl, Sudafed, and Sinutab products, totaling 47 million units.

These products are being recalled because of questionable cleaning procedures and is precautionary. No adverse health effects have been reported or are expected. All the items were manufactured at the Fort Washington, PA plant before April 2010, when production at that facility was halted. A complete list of the recalled medications is available on the McNeil website.


J&J had more than a dozen recalls during 2010, including one for Rolaids Softchews on December 9; Tylenol Cold Liquid products on November 24, Children’s Benadryl Allergy Fastmelt Tablets on November 15, Junior Strength Motrin on November 15, Rolaids Extra Strength Softchews on November 15, Tylenol 8 Hour on October 18, and various Tylenol products plus Benadryl Allergy Ultratab Tablets and Motrin IB products on July 8.
