Exactly.. only 2000 years. So how exactly is it that we know if this is normal or not? .00005% of earths time give or take a billion years or so we have been watching, thats why I keep going back to this being man made when in fact its probably a normal cycle but we like to make something out of nothing and call it abnormal when we have no idea what normal is

Well people, IF its true that the sun has started to rise 4 days earlier then usual, and its looking from various sources that this is indeed the case,I would suggest that even this subtle difference may well bring a varied change in the weather.That is, (like the butterfly effect) a small change in space, could mean a big change on earth.In order for the sun to rise earlier then is usual, then there can be only one or both of two reasons.A) the sun has moved?
B) change in the rotation of the earth/tilt/axis.
I can see no other way the sun could rise "earlier"
or maybe theres a third reason and that is the earth has moved? maybe our earths natural orbit is being pushed or pulled by other unknown gravitational forces? nibiru?
Once I suppose we have confirmation that it is true, we can then narrow down the evidence.Until then Im afraid *********************its all speculation.........................

I guess this phenomenon is related to the sun rising in the SE and setting in the SW up here in the PNW?

I live in south central alaska...
I have noticed us picking up a bit too much daylight for January.
Plus the sun is soooooo freaking bright!!!
Even with shades it just blinds ya, hard to drive at certain times of day between the low angle and the intensness of the sun.
I have talked to other locals about this and they are all reporting same thing, we all even said we just thought our eyes were more sensitive or something..(Over 40 group here, tho' even my kids have said the same thing as well)

Something is up in the world, that is for sure!!

Something is most certainly wrong tho', I have been up here almost 20 years and this year is VERY different!! Wierd wind storms more than norm, abnormal pecipitation patterns, abnormal temp variations, no northern lights, we had temps a couple weeks ago that we had in July for goodness sake!!!
And the 90 MPH wind events that are occurring frequently are most odd..

Ok, I live in the Phoenix AZ area and since the winter solstice it seems to me that the sun is rising later than it should. It's still very, very dark at 7 am. and it's not cloudy.

Has anyone else noticed the mornings to be darker than they should?

I live on the peninsula. The light is comming earlier in the mornings and staying later in the afternoons. Our night skies are off and we are supposed to be 60 to 65 degrees warmer than Minnesota tonight.

So we have 1 day early in Norway, 2 days early in Greenland, 4 days early in Alaska. Will be interesting if we hear a 3 days early in Canada!

Any one eise notice the dark is darker than normal?????
And the bright is brighter than normal????
