Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is not on the Earths surface, the "y hole" is on the surface of the Sun, at approximately 7 degrees north latitude and 60 degrees longitude. When this "hole" is "aimed" toward the Earth, the possibility of dangerous radiation storms on earth exists. |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember a boy in school who used to respond to a serious question with a smart assed answer like that, he was the same dumbass that was always looking over my shoulder during a test. An idiot he was, just like you, and he died like an idiot too, shot himself in the stomach with a 22, when someone informed him he wasn´t funny. |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "OP, post something of value..". I´ll bet if the astronauts have internet capabilities (i doubt it) , they would be "tuning in" to my forecast. You demand I post something of value, let me ask you this, do you value the information your government is providing you with more? If so, I suggest you´re either a bushbot or a moron. We already know you´re a fucking bushbot brownshirt, dont we? |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don´t know you, nor do I want to. This is a serious thread and your comments reflect upon your character. I merely suggested to you perhaps there was a better way to respond to that which you cannot comprehend than to redicule it. After highschool, no one thinks it´s funny anymore, except at mc donalds and wendys |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Your not even "the real" IDW." The reports of my demise were wrong. I am still very much alive, and I am the same Interdimensional warrior that was here on day 1 of this forum, when Kent Steadmans forum was directed here. If you´re wondering how I´ve managed to keep breathing for so long, that thought has crossed my mine often as well. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | IDW those who are stable and mature do appreciate the efforts that you go to in keeping others informed. I believe that this might be a clue as to why Real Hazzard is the way he is * Note the last sentence: Should major to severe storm levels occur, there is a chance for enhanced seismic and volcanic activity, rapidly intensifying storm systems, radio transmission problems, GPS ghosting, electrical anomalies and malfunctions, and possibly even behavioral anomalies in animals as well as mankind. *Persons who suffer from migraines and bipolar disorder may experience a very rough time during such an event. |

acid 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | no prob - but every day somebody turns up with great life saving advice, when someone waves the bullshit flag they take a bit of a hissy fit ,throw out a few insults because they "know" they are right but when the period has passed they just forget how wrong they were and carry on as normal it would be ever so nice if people who do start the fear mongering campaign actually come back to say "well i was wrong, im sorry for going off on you when you waved the bullshit flag" we both know it will never happen though i do hope you are wrong by the way |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "when someone waves the bullshit flag they take a bit of a hissy fit ,throw out a few insults because they "know" they are right but when the period has passed they just forget how wrong they were and carry on as normal" The probability that my prediction will be correct, based on my prior record in predicting such events , is near 97%. NOAA´s success rate is much less, and their windows of prediction much wider. I ALWAYS admit I was wrong when I am, which is not often. Maybe thats why you haven´t seen me admitting I was wrong? "it would be ever so nice if people who do start the fear mongering campaign" As the creator is my witness, I am simply trying to inform you of the truth so you can take prudent actions to protect yourself, should the need arise. I have personally felt the effects of solar flares during magnetic field storms, and I can even predict without access to instruments or data approximately what the severity of the event was based upon the way I feel. I have been looking at the data so long I have learned to correlate the way I feel to the readings on the intruments. Yes, I can sense a magnetic storm or a solar flare, and I can tell when the proton flux is high, all by the WAY I FEEL. actually come back to say "well i was wrong, im sorry for going off on you when you waved the bullshit flag" |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Old coot, it would be wise to stay informed by accesing this forum as the next few days progress, someone here will post information on it in all likelyhood, if not myself. Staying indoors is not a bad idea during those hours, but if a severe flare erupts during those hours (possible, but not likely today) you should also take measures to get as much metal and concrete between you and the Sun as possible. A basement is better than a top floor, and a 1st storey apparment on the shaded side of a building is safer than a top floor apartment on the sunny side. |

Interdimensional warrior 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It could be bad enough that you would feel it as an internal heating or tickling sensation , or even worst, it might drop you in your tracks, and if there´s no one who knows exactly what is happening to direct you what you should do, you could die from it. . Satelites could be destroyed or disabled. Current could be induced in power grids causing widespread failures. The shuttles´ mission could be in serious jepardy. I see NASA has now adjusted their probabilities of an x class flare in the next 78 hours to 75%, I guess they read my post this morning. |

Rev. Star Gazer 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | First one already - A powerful X-class solar flare erupted from sunspot 792 this morning at 0635 UT. SOHO coronagraph images are not yet available, so we don´t know if the blast produced a coronal mass ejection (CME). If it did, auroras are possible tonight or tomorrow when the CME reaches Earth. Stay tuned for updates. [link to spaceweather.com] |
Old Coot 12/08/2005 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | IDW, thank you for your reply and info. Something is up here at my 7000 feet in Colorado. It is now 2:00 MDT and only 84 degrees, but you go outside and the sun rays are REALLY burning. Very strange. A few days ago it hit 95 degrees here, but the rays were not burning like today. |
