I'm sorry you've never noticed field rotation before. It has always happened. The Moon and everything else in the sky appears to rotate every time they are up. They have to because your perspective of them changes as you are on a round, rotating Earth.

I Google'd horizontal moon and posts on GLP and I can't find a single post about this last year. Or the year before. Like it just started happening and now that people are getting wise to it others are trying to say that it is normal. Kinda like the birds committed mass suicide, right? Did you go camping in the winter though? I have :) and I've seen moons like this. There is nothing that I can see with my eyes that is wrong with the moon. Real evidence, if there is any, can be obtained with an ephemeris. But people keep on posting videos instead ... I used to live in Florida...so it was warm in the winter and I was outside a lot and nope, I still never remember seeing it like this. And why does everyone keep trying to explain it when a simple PICTURE or VIDEO of it doing this in the past would help to prove your points? I have video, but suddenly no one has video of it doing this exact thing that they claim happens all the time. Again....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! ephemeris: [ link to www.moontracks.com] Not sure what it means though cause it doesn't seem to show us what is happening with the moon.
