But I see where this has come to...if you can't explain it away then you have to try to claim that I am full of shit.

Now, another way I can do it is wait for the next night that I can see the moon and have the newspaper ready, but you'd probably claim that I traveled across the country to get that paper or had someone express mail it to me same day.

Well, one fact remains: if it is abnormal for one it should be abnormal for all. So if this abnormal by all,,, then only one conclusion remains: it is you that is abnormal...

Err, what? We see 50% of the Moon's surface at any time. If the Moon was in perfectly in plane, and perfectly synchronized in rotation, we'd only see 50% ever. It is not however perfect. It nods and dips slightly over time, leading to us being able to see about 59% of it's surface.




You missed the key phrase "without pivoting cars." The implication was that you went head over heels during the ride. A better example would perhaps be one of those things you strap into and spin around and upside down.




This is a case where direct observation trumps second-hand data. Watch the Moon. It will rotate. That is simple and direct and indisputable.

Normal depends on the time, the degree of transit. You cant just put a pic up from your reference point without this data and say its not normal. DATA...

That does not matter. It proves that the light arc on the Earth is in direct correlation with the light arc on the moon. They are equal to each other. It is horizontal. That is what you asked for. It should be normal no matter the time,,, since most of us are stationary and normal is defined by our geographic location. Only when you observe the moon phases from a different latitude do you notice the phases are different from what you are used to....

If I was near the equator my little flag would certainly not say United States...and a mod can easily look up my IP address and can tell you for the last TWO YEARS that I have been at GLP that I am in NE Ohio. Always have been, always will be.

Dear god, I had no idea people were this stupid and gullible. Sorry but it had to be said! I read the first two pages of gibberish then I had to stop. It seems SOME people have no comprehension or understanding of how the solar system works...it's not your fault entirely, it's just that fact that most do not understand astronomy. The problem I have with all of this though, is the fact when someone see's something they do not understand and draw their own conclusion without asking questions. They claim its something unusual, or even supernatural when in reality its only natural and the laws of physic's doing their thing. It's at this point that I have to call spade a spade, and someone who REFUSES to properly investigate by talking to a professional (try a local astronomy club) and ask the question to get the RIGHT answer then you are truly worthy of the title IDIOT, or better yet IMBECILE!!!
