Sarah Palin Disrespected The American Flag In Tucson Response Video

This isn’t the first time Palin has run afoul of the U.S. Flag Code. She caused a mini-uproar last fall when she casually autographed a supporter’s American flag at a Tea Party rally.

And of course there was the photo from Palin’s spread in Runner’s World, which had her leaning on a flag draped over a stool.

Will any of these flag infractions matter to Palin’s fans? Of course not. But maybe, just maybe, during the next campaign we could all be spared the ridiculous debates over doctored photos of Democrats putting the “wrong” hand over their heart while saluting the flag or uproar over whether Obama should wear a flag pin wherever he goes.

I remember seeing GW Bush autographing those little flags at some event.


And after 91/11 the Pentagon hung a huge American flag over the damaged area - backwards.

Yesterday during the 9/11 ceremonies in New York the director of the C-SPAN telecast took a shot of Obama and his wife while the World Trade Center American flag that survived the attack was being folded by local police and fire fighters. Watch the video until the folding of the flag is almost finished. At that point read Michelle’s big lips as she leans over to Obama and says “ALL THIS FOR A FLAG” and then shakes her head side to side in disapproval while Obama nods his approval of her statement. These people have absolutely no respect for our country and are a total disgrace.

This is what happens when people elect a man they knew nothing about.
