"U.S. District Judge Larry Burns said he was leaving it up to the U.S. Marshals Service to decide whether to release the mugshot of Loughner, which was taken in Phoenix while he was in the agency's custody. Burns also held off on unsealing search-warrant records that show what was seized from the home of Loughner after the Jan. 8 shooting. The judge said the investigation is ongoing."

"According to a memo obtained by the Daily Star, Tucson Fire Department Capt. Ben Williams said Ekstrum told him he would not go on the call.

"He mentioned something about 'political bantering' and he did not want to be part of it," the memo stated.

Williams wrote that Ekstrum "started to say something about how he had a much different political viewpoint than the rest of the crew and he was concerned."

Ekstrum then informed Williams he was going home sick and the crew attended the scene without him."

"There is concern that release of the autopsy reports, which describe the cause of death and trauma to the decedents' bodies, may spawn prejudicial depictions of the decedents' manner of death in the press," the court filing states. "Furthermore, the reports are evidence of aspects of this case that will ultimately need to be resolved by the jury. Dissemination could taint the jury pool and has the potential to deprive both the government and the defendant of a fair trial."

This is absolutely riotous, given the abominable and slanted and declaratory tabloid media coverage of this event, including literally thousands upon thousands of claims that "Loughner did it". Has the prosecution been living in a fucking cave or is this just another in the torrent of lies being used to railroad this kid into taking the fall for a clearly political assassination of a federal judge? They probably don't want the autopsy reports released to the public because they conflict with the official fables about the event. Not that any of you dumbfucks would ever notice, 99% of the population is dumb as shit and couldn't solve a story problem of 2 + 2, let alone crack a murder case.

Roll was apparently one of the first people shot, if descriptions of the video are to be believed. Roll was shot and killed with a single bullet.
