I know the fraction version of the conversion. I was just telling a Canadian this saying and he said he had never heard of it. I'm American and I learned to recognize Celsius by this saying, but don't remember where I learned it, nor can find it on the internet. |

And by using the formula F = 1.8 x C + 32 to convert a Celsius temperature to a Fahrenheit temperature. I'm not trying to convert. I'm asking if anyone has heard of the saying. |

BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 1220677 United States 01/28/2011 07:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Fahrenheit is what the temperature is measured in. Celsius is for assholes and pussies... Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |
