The quote a couple of posts up is a re-write (personal paraphrase?) of Gen 2:4 - 3:24. Perhaps that AC is the geology professor from Univ of Georgia himself?

(7) The Greek texts vary considerably from the Ethiopic text here. One Greek manuscript adds to this section, "And they [the women] bore to them [the Watchers] three races–first, the great giants. The giants brought forth [some say "slew"] the Naphelim, and the Naphelim brought forth [or "slew"] the Elioud. And they existed, increasing in power according to their greatness." See the account in the Book of Jubilees.

12Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labor of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them;

13When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them;

14And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, (8) and to drink their blood.

(8) Their flesh one after another. Or, "one another’s flesh." R.H. Charles notes that this phrase may refer to the destruction of one class of giants by another (Charles, p. 65).

obviously the infants are able to be born of women. how giant they get is in question. i don't think they are that big. probably 8 ft - 10 ft tall

They were about 10 - 12 feet tall:

I used to live in Westerville our house (which we still own) backs up to the Highland State Park. I spent MANY years as a child in our back woods and at the park.

There are Large Serpent mounds at the park and in our back yard.

I have dug in them and I have found Giant remains. Skulls as largs as a Basketball. Knives as big as a bat. They are still there now as I type this.

I spent years trying to ask forgiveness from my indian ansestors thinking that ,as a child, I had done the most wrong thing...

...I do not feel that way now knowing what I know and I plan to bring these back out of the ground this summer.

I stopped after finding the skull and Knife (that was enough to give me nightmares as a kid.

I will dig deeper this time and see what I can really find.

I for one don't find it "heavy handed" to attempt to stay on topic. In reading through the whole thread, I find so many people so sure they have some special truth that they just have to share with others no matter how far off topic.

And when no one thinks that they are as brilliant as they think of themselves, they call us ignorant, stupid, ill-informed, narrow, and other terms of dismissal.

I for one vote to stay on topic!

I think you took what I said out of context. Stay on topic? This thread is reduced to several pages of debating the validity of Gnostic texts and nothing about the actual topic of the Watchers or their offspring. I know you guys are smarter than me, but I think that the Holy Spirit can guide people on what is fact and what is BS. Your reasoning for censorship is to avoid people with swollen egos coming in and name calling but Where I come from people can back up their statements with references to further their argument.

A fellowship is about everyone bringing something different to the table. S&L didn't respond to me.. so I am sorry if I offend her or you. Still waiting for a rebuttal to the first part of my original post, which was my main argument.
