If its civil war, shouldn't there be two sides/ethnic groups/regions within the country fighting?
This seems to be millions of people protesting with some fighting now breaking out between some of the protesters and a group of government sympathizers/police.

I expect that what started as a peaceful revolution has now crossed the threshold into violent revolution.
