They can make it "look" like anything they want it to.

Remember Lisa Nowak and the crazy Houston to Orlando, amazingly timed arrival at the Orlando Airport confrontation? Well even though it was claimed she had knives, a hammer, duct tape, pepper spray, etc. There were no charges of attempted murder. A hand slap from the law, a dismissal from NASA, a reassignment back to the Navy and bodda bing, bodda boom, she is serving on the Chief of Staff for Naval Air Training in Corpus Christi, Tx to this day!!

That was a psy-op, who knows for what reason. But, the fact she was not dishonorably discharged but, promoted speaks volumes.

I personally wouldn't give any credence whatsoever to any NASA announcements or "police actions" carried out by them.
