A book which appears frequently in the hands of mystical, New Age, and spiritual seekers is THE URANTIA BOOK. Easily recognizable as a massive blue $34 hardback, THE URANTIA BOOK consists of 2097 pages of channeled material. Though first published in 1955, the bulk of its material was actually channeled in the early 1930s. (Its publishers and supporters dislike speaking of THE URANTIA BOOK in terms of "channeling" or "spirit mediumship," since this draws attention to its anonymous human author, who wished his identity to be kept a secret.)

After nearly forty years of mystery, the author's veil of anonymity has finally been removed. The story behind the channeler's "secret identity" is actually quite fascinating. But first, some background information about the book.

If there is an anti-christ that is going to be loved as Jesus to mislead people then the Urantia book is the best road to it imho.

The way of many channeling is to add you loads of informations that you would not need now or would not help in your current life to fill your brain with utter rubbish and give you a license to claim yourself spiritual above the others.

Pertainers of the UB said themselves to come directly from paradise (one way to hook people on upping the ego), while they are severely mentally and physically imbalanced as well as highly judgmental and ignorant of anything that do not match their opinion. They mix and integrate all third party sources saying it was the voice of another of their characters.

The Urantia foundation belongs 100% to the Merry Christmas institute. First of all you should ask why.

I prefer to ignore this absurdity just as I ignore the bible, koran, vedas, etc, etc.

The bLibel was channeled, according to christians.

This applies to many religious people, regardless of religion. I know quite a few christians that fit your bill there exactly.

However, after doing some cursory skimming and discussing the subject with someone who is actually familiar with the book, it holds about as much sway for me as the bible does, which is none.

Its another book written by people who believed in magical thinking, nothing more.

I do not however think any church is to be trusted 100%. From what I read about the manipulation of discarnate entities after the end of your life, ANY belief on your side will be turned in a way to hook you to them.

This is utterly important to take the teachings but not hook yourself on a teacher because on one side it is idolatry and on the other side it makes you too much a prey and will prevent you to further follow your inner voice (not one you hear in your brain!).

You should believe in God within and not in a physical God that will come to you.

Furthermore it is warned against taking any present that they could offer you, sometimes it is an energy trap if you wear them and noting the rumors that the nordics are chipped slaves of the reptilians, I find it very concerning that you would have to take a chip as thought adjuster to claim to be in line with God. Once you have the chip, it is too late and you will not even be mentally able to accept this fact.

It's easy to see the Urantia book has the same tone as the newage spiritual bullshit with its mumbojumbo technical terms that really don't make any sense when analysed. Behind all the crap about infinite potential, experiential ascension, mansion worlds and other hocus-pocus, one can easily see the usual satanic deception of the godhood of man and immortality -- The same BS satan used to deceive Eve in the garden.

No it wasn't, there is a big difference between channeling and inspiration.

On many occasions I receive the filling of the Holy Spirit in which things I say become profound, yet I marvel that it came from my own lips. That is inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Channeling demands that one blank out their minds to be influenced by another spirit, and it usually is not the "good" kind that is involved in channeling which is an occult device.
