A lot of "professionals" say the build up to an expolsion could take years...many years. I say is this not an escalation? Lesser last year and previous years. It's not like we were here 640000 years ago to document just how she blew. I see 2 more small quakes there on the map with in the last hour. Why so many quakes? Is the ground building with pressure...yes. WHy? Is magma & gas building up...yes. So could an eruption happen? You tell me.
Quoting: WashVolcanoes and earthquakes are not caused by "pressure", they are manifestations of electric discharge. Quoting: PlautusHow are they manifestations of electrical discharge? No sarcasm ... I really want to learn, please. Quoting: Jane SmithVolcanoes are the easiest to explain. Volcanoes are known to preferentially erupt from the tops of mountains. This in no way fits the "magma well" theory of volcanoes. If volcanoes were caused by magma (which doesn't even exist underground) welling up, they would not preferentially erupt from the tops of mountains, they would break through in the thinnest parts of the crust. Electric discharges are known to seek high, sharp peaks. This is what we see taking place in a volcanic eruption. Electric discharge (known as volcano lightning or volcanic lightning) is responsible for melting the rock in situ. This is why lava is always chemically identical to the rock it pours out of, and never like the rock we find deep underground. The most readily understandable way to describe earthquakes is to imagine them as underground lightning. It's not a perfect metaphor but it is illustrative of what is essentially going on. All of these systems as well as all of Earth's weather systems are driven by electric currents in space. The Earth is part of a circuit. As I've pointed out in another post elsewhere, lightning is a continuous phenomenon on Earth. The Earth acts like a giant leaky capacitor, with the atmosphere acting as a self-repairing dielectric. This continuous electric discharge is responsible for all weather, earthquakes, volcanoes and many other phenomena. Quoting: Plautuswho release these ignorant idiots ^^^^^ out of the box? (gov shill?)
