It is an interesting question. If we don´t celebrate, do we mourn or pretend it didn´t happen?

I think that simple acknowledgment, and quiet contemplation of the dreadfull horror wreaked on tens of thousands of Japanese civilians is an appropriate way to observe the 60th anniversary of this significant historical event.
