With the derivatives game, credit default swaps and all of our unfunded liabilities, we are well above the $600 trillion mark. Much like the unemployment numbers and everything else put out by the gov, they manipulate the shit out of the numbers. [link to www.newsweek.com] |

We've seen inflation no doubt though. The official inflation data is so silly... it seems to measure the price of cars and things people buy once every 3 years not something people have to buy week after week. That or the decreasing price of electronics is seen as 'deflation' and skews the data all up. |

But with nukes nobody is going to challenge us if we default on our debt. Dismantle all the nukes, that's another story. In the end it doesn't matter which puppets take the blame as long as order is maintained. Puppets can be replaced and retire in remote places. No big deal. Hell, I'll take political power and take the blame if it means a safe retirement in a secluded location safe from prying eyes with plenty of money. Well maybe not. Safety can never really be guaranteed once a person is a public figure. |

The US wealth is like, eh, what, 73 trillion? Nah, the derivatives b/s is b/s! And its Normal that The Debt is shooting up, we are coming close to a world war, so "now" is the Time for the exuberant cash grab. When war hits people won't stand for this looting. When war comes these guys are gonna look holier than the Pope. They'll be balancing the Budget, tax write-offs for the middle and lower class, all kinds of nice incentives to get your asses to trust the authority so that when they say; "there is the enemy!" You'll march to beat of the drums. |
