Scientist finds Gulf bottom still oily, dead

By SETH BORENSTEINAP Science Writer

lWASHINGTON (AP) -- Oil from the BP spill remains stuck on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, according to a top scientist's video and slides that she says demonstrate the oil isn't degrading as hoped and has decimated life on parts of the sea floor. That report is at odds with a recent report by the BP spill compensation czar that said nearly all will be well by 2012. At a science conference in Washington Saturday, marine scientist Samantha Joye of the University of Georgia aired early results of her December submarine dives around the BP spill site. She went to places she had visited in the summer and expected the oil and residue from oil-munching microbes would be gone by then. It wasn't.

that would be my guess on her 'submarine" investigation. And people the area where the "spill" occured was NOT where they said it was. they did put in the coordinates right, but what was posted was otherwise incorrect. For starters the area is far more offshore than the 40+ miles stated, closer to 100 and the well head was not 5000 feet down, it was nearly 10,000 feet down. Now which sub did she use?

Re: Scientist reports Gulf bottom still oily & dead
Thousands of citizens around the Gulf are experiencing chemical toxicity syndrome, more due to the presence of millions of gallons of toxic Corexit chemical oil dispersant. Corexit breaks down carbon-based materials -- including carbon based marine and human life forms! It especially attacks the lipid membranes, which are a primary barrier against infection. One of the most common and awful symptoms of chemical toxicity syndrome is a full-body outbreak of staph infection. See this video by Jennifer Rexford, who lives in Panama City, FL, 175 miles from the Deepwater Horizon well site: [link to NOT]

Re: Scientist reports Gulf bottom still oily & dead
I don't doubt it. We have tons of oysters in our bay but the prices has nearly quadrupled even locally because so much is dead along the rest of the gulf. The oysters are being sold elsewhere to make up for the loss. I should be stuffing myself on oysters right now but at $12.00 to $15.00 a dozen it's just outrageous. People tell me the rest of the gulf coast is just dead and it's only getting worse.

Of course, if you listen to the talking heads at BP and their obedient lap dogs in Washington, everything's peachy and all the oil is gone.

They're so sure everything's right in the gulf they're feeding our troops gulf seafood. Then again, our beloved Government has a sordid history of using our soldiers as guinea pigs for their evil experiments.

I'm not surprised. Its going to be like that for decades... and when the hurricanes come it'll churn up anything that did finally get covered by silt.

And its not going anywhere either if reports are correct that the gulf loop current has either stopped or slowed down. Remember corexit is probably not the only thing these fuku tards are using im sure. The Gulf is dead and dying along with all the good people that live there. Our pussy POTUS let BP get away with it so did Thad "what the fuck you should have retired" Allen. Unless the people of the United States wake up? like the oil, we arent going anywhere but 6 feet under.blackeye

I can't believe how much they've managed to bury about the oil spill and the HUGE degree of the global popoulation knowing NOTHING about it at all.

People i know who are msm-tards didn't know there was a spill in the gulf. ''Heard about that - oh yeah'' would be the common response...unbelievable..

I know we've got earth changes acomin'..but this MESS on many levels, displays mankinds failure.

If they've used it to deploy some nano tech or any other biological warfare-type bacteria they don't even deserve to be on this effin planet!

Walked the beach 20 miles west of Galveston, Texas this week and did not see any LIVING THING in over 3 miles of beach. NOTHING was alive in the tidal zone; never seen such a DEAD BEACH before.
