Re: Tell me what you know about Antarctica.
I agree with the pole shift tards in this thread. The one thing I don't understand is how the magnetic poles have aligned (for the most part) with the rotational poles. I can see the crust basically thin in relation to the mantle and essentially "floating" on the mantel so that if large comets pass by they can actually pull the crust along with their gravitational influence as they pass by, but why do the magnetic poles align now with the rotational poles?

That is assuming the magnetic poles are a function of the core's rotation. It's possible the core would rotate in an entirely different direction than the crust following a pole shift. Maybe the mantle and crust just adjust to the denser core's rotation over time.

An oil field is a region with an abundance of oil wells extracting petroleum from below ground. Because the oil reservoirs typically extend over a large area, possibly several hundred kilometres across, full exploitation entails multiple wells scattered across the area...

Thank you for your contributions, Muse... hf

M.O., the Bezerk thread uncovered alot of the same research.

- Comets both hit the GoM and Ant.

- Au organism, intelligent oil found in both places and now
the intelligent oil splash zone in the Falklands.

I find this extremely interesting, in light of Muse's above contribution.

Several million years ago it was in a tropical region of earth. Plate Tectonics shoved it southward and eventually it will creep back north and warm up again.

Most likely with all this digging and exploring we will stumble across a deadly ancient pathogen, release it back to the world, killing off most of us.
 Quoting: Dr. House

Nice thoughts... it's certainly possible.

The unfortunate thing is by the time Antarctica gets warm again, we won't even be alive. I wanna know NOW.

Back to the comet impact theory... that's why I find the prediction of a looming impact in Antarctica VERY interesting especially since Elenin's discovery.

The comet itself may not hit the planet... but what does the tail bring with it?

My thought is that the comet is part of the Oort Cloud. Just a taste of what it's bringing.

Bingo.

Add the Chilean workers flown into Ant. to work on some large project. Some strange coincidences, the scientist near death helo. out of Ant. The Rayethon co. dude disappearing, the Haarp newly set up in the Falklands, the methane gas reports in Falklands and Argentina, etc...

Your contribution gave me the idea to Google 'interesting Antarctica facts'.

[link to www.coolantarctica.com]

- 1.4 times bigger than the USA, 58 times bigger than the UK

- Antarctica has 70% of all the world's freshwater frozen as ice - and 90% of all the world's ice.

- Antarctica was imagined by the ancient Greeks, but not even seen until 1820. (Imagined, MY ASS.)

[link to www.coolantarctica.com]

- Antarctica is the best place in the world to find meteorites. Dark meteorites show up against the white expanse of ice and snow and don't get covered by vegetation. In some places, the way the ice flows concentrates meteorites there. The ice makes them gather in one place. (No, there are a lot of meteorites there because it was hit by a huge meteor in the first place.)

-The cold and dry conditions in the "Dry Valleys" region of Antarctica are so close to those on Mars that NASA did testing there for the Viking mission. It has not rained in the dry valleys for at least 2 million years. (Look again to the huge Mars impact. [link to wapi.isu.edu] "The southern and northern hemispheres of Mars are so different that they are divided into separate geologic provinces. The southern hemisphere has many large, multi-ring craters and basins, and volcanic intercrater terrain, very similar to Mercury and the Earth’s Moon. These craters were probably formed by intense bombardment early in the planet’s history.")

Antarctica was forest, yes, it's a known fact. Where the equator is now used to be the north and south poles. Can you guess where it's going to be safe to live if the poles are shifting again?

I'd imagine it'd be nice to have some things ready to grow when the ground thaws. Maybe some... seeds.

What about its ancient history? How did it really become a 'frozen wasteland'?

What's under all that ice? And what is being hidden from us about Antarctica today?

I have a few 'TEOTWAWKI' theories, some involve Antarctica to a degree. Before I expound on those, I need to know more about the place... from scientific facts to theories and myths. Any points of note that you've ever heard or read about Antarctica... past, present, and future.

Input very appreciated.

Antarctica was the 1st Continent formed and it was formed by a collision with Triton, a moon of Neptune.

[link to apod.nasa.gov]

The collision created Toad Crater, which 40% of it can still be seen northeast of Greenland and the other 60% ended up on the Mars Continent, which that continent is the rest of the land masses that were created by a collision with Mars about 4 billion years ago and the Collision Zone is now underneath Australia. thumbs

[link to www.seajester.eq8r.net]

Dew to Galactic Gravity/Allignment, when a continent is formed, it creates an in-balanced situation and that continent shifts to the south pole of the planet and that's why it's down there (weebles wobble but the don't fall down) and it's always been there except for its early days. The original continent, once it situates itself at the south pole, becomes what is known as the Anchoring Continent. Future continents, like the Mars Continent, will break up and shift around to re-balance the planet. thumbs

It is NOT currently an inbalancing situation, it was when it was created. thumbs Now, dew to location, it is our planet's anchor and helps to keep us balanced. ura

Look to the 3 Gorges Dam for what's causing our current earthquake problems:

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Anything that slows down the planet, is creating an inbalanced situation, causing more earthquakes, whereas, anything that speeds the planet up, balances us more and reduces the earthquakes. thumbs

"Literature on the reactions of contemporary human beings coping with certain kinds of extreme and unusual environments indicates the occasional experience of another entity appearing to provide help or advice, even when no such entity was in fact present. Sources of such reports reviewed in this article include spirit quests, solitary sailing, polar and mountain explorations, and the traumatic experiences of shipwreck and air-crash survivors in remote and hostile environments."

Take this into consideration with the magnetic anomaly.

Perhaps in places of this 'heightened energy' we'll say, it is more possible for supernatural experiences to occur.

At this time, I'll link back to my Inner-Earth thread...
Thread: Inner Earth: Thoughts or Theories?

I started the thread because I am interested in what kind of beings would live in inner-earth if it was real.

On this thread alone, we have evidence pointing to inner earth openings in Antarctica, huge magnetic anomalies, supernatural experiences of presences no one could account for.

Let's theorize that at the time Antarctica was impacted, it was populated with perhaps a very advanced race... technologically, and spiritually. Who knows what they were capable of. There's over a mile of ice between us and the answer.

What's down there causing the anomalies? Some sort of ancient machinery? Or just a natural magnetic phenomena where in the veil between dimensions is a little more thin?

Re: Tell me what you know about Antarctica.
Hitler believed that Atlantis existed below the ice of Antarctica. He did not commit suicide but traveled through a portal to Aldebaran

Aldebaran is an orange giant star located about 65 light years away in the zodiac constellation of Taurus. With an average apparent magnitude of 0.87 it is the brightest star in the constellation and is one of the brightest stars in the nighttime sky.

The name Aldebaran is Arabic and translates literally as "the follower", presumably because this bright star appears to follow the Pleiades, or Seven Sisters star cluster in the night sky. The name probably refers to the way this bright star follows the Pleiades star cluster in its nightly journey across the sky.

Odd...to say the least.
