MISSOURI~ HEADS UP..sighs
Any fellow Missourians here, be prepared for some severe weather. Calling for super cells, and possibly tornadoes.

THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER RISK LEVEL IS...SIGNIFICANT

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED TORNADO RISK.
ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
SIGNIFICANT THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON ALONG AND
NORTH OF A WARM FRONT THAT WILL EXTEND FROM JUST NORTH OF A LINE
FROM FORT SCOTT KANSAS TO OSCEOLA AND VERSAILLES IN MISSOURI. THE
PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER RISK WILL BE LARGE HAIL...HOWEVER STORMS
THAT ARE ABLE TO DEVELOP JUST TO THE SOUTH OF THE WARM FRONT WILL
POSE A DAMAGING WIND RISK AND A LIMITED...ISOLATED TORNADO RISK.

ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED DURING THE
MID TO LATE AFTERNOON HOURS FROM CENTRAL ARKANSAS INTO SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI...POTENTIALLY CLIPPING SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. STORM
MODE WITH THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE SUPERCELLS...POSING A RISK OF
LARGE HAIL... DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND ELEVATED RISK FOR
TORNADOES.

Thanks for the heads up! In the middle of tornado alley; fortunately, they split off to either side of us.

Strangely enough..thats true. Last year we only had 2 or 3 tornadoes here. But we had one in January that killed 2 of my neighbors..so..looks like a pretty crazy spring for us.

hiding Here in Memphis area the Torcon has just been been raised to 6. Gonna be a long nite. Fortunately, our local TV stations go 24/7 with real-time info; even telling us what neighborhood at what minute.

The Arch Effect!
I couldn’t figure out whether the mushroom is the alien or the mushroom is some kind of technological artifact allowing me to hear the alien when the alien is actually light-years away, using some kind of Bell nonlocality principle to communicate. The mushroom states its own position very clearly. It says, ‘I require the nervous system of a mammal. Do you have one handy?’- Terence McKena

Thank you for the update. What I find concerning is that it doesn't matter what season it is when you live near or in "Tornado Alley". Look what happened on New Years Eve. We had a level 3 that came through parts of Missouri that day.

They keep changing the timing here. Sucks when it hits after midnite. Can't see a thing and most will be sleeping. The local (Memphis) weather man said it could be stronger than the other day. There goes my roof!

Yeah it is pretty freaky. And when it happens at night, where you can't see the threat coming, it's even worse. I've been through night time twisters. Scary sh*t.

I was raised in that country, Lake of the Ozarks to be exact.........left there in the late 80's. After living here out west and going back there a couple of times I felt almost claustrophobic, I have to see the mountains when I get up in the morning..........but good luck tonight Missourians.
