When the comet is directly between the Earth and the Sun then the Sun will push its tail towards the Earth, but the tail will only contain very small particles that can be pushed by the solar winds. Great light show, no damage…

When the comet has passed Earth’s orbital and the Earth travels through its tail there may be some larger debris but again it will probably only create an even better meteor shower light show.

My only concern is if the comets published orbit is not correct and it will actually hit the Earth. The size of the comet becomes of the utmost importance then.
