Well, the MIC (Militairy Industrial Complex)&

As I understand it, the US has reserves for 3 months
stateside, should oil from Saudi Arabia and Iraq become
unavailable. Think 'nuclear pollution'.
That would be the only thing that could cause this.
If the MIC calls dibs on it, and in this scenario
they would, not much else will function.
And only for a few months at that.

Biggest oil reserves in the world are;
1 Saudi Arabia. 'MIC land'.
2 Iraq. 'MIC land'.
3 Canada. Ally.
4 Iran. (!) On the MIC wish list. This is why. nothing else.
5 Kuwait. 'MIC land'.
6 Venezuela (!) See Iran. (!)
7 United Arab Emirates. 'MIC land'.
8 Russia. The first one on the list in charge of itself,
or no longer a MIC target. (way too much trouble).

They were just blither blathering on FOX as to why gold and oil are up and the markets going down. LOL...They said it's because of recent protests in Iran! Hmmmm....I don't think they want to admit it's getting hot and heavy in Baharain and Oman right about now.
