"It's just money." Quoting: OkieLucky you though. Hold onto it. The checker said she's been seeing those and 5 dollar bills with red seals. Her boss told her to pull them and trade out for normal worthless script. I told her to save them for me, and that I'd make it worth her trouble. She agreed. I should be getting a phone call any day. Yep, someone raiding Grandma's cigar box. You all rock! |

Silver is currently trading at $37.50 per ounce... $3.75 would by 1/10 of an ounce of silver. $1.25 would by 1/3 of 1/10 of an ounce of silver or... 1.0 ounce of silver:$37.50 :: 1/10 ounce of silver:$3.75 1/3 of 1/10 = 33.333% (therefore) 33.333% of $3.75 = $1.25 WELL FUCKING CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Your silver certificate will by you $1.25 in silver rather than $1.00 in silver!!!! YOU MADE A FUCKEN QUARTER!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I STILL SUGGEST YOU BUY SILVER! |

MissCleo User ID: 77082640 United States 04/07/2019 04:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just traded in my silver certificates at a coin shop for a little over face value. A 1964 law made them not worth actual silver, only of value to collectors or in zombie apocalypse when government has to turn to silver as cash, and then if there is a zombie apocalypse there will be bigger things to worry about and good luck finding a bank that will give you actual silver. |
