Kennedy Sirhan, a Palestinian Christian from Jordan who is now 66, spoke at length Wednesday and expressed sorrow, but said he doesn't remember shooting Kennedy or five other victims in the crowded kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, where Kennedy stood moments after claiming victory in the California presidential primary. "Every day of my life, I have great remorse and deep regret," he told a panel of two parole board commissioners at Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga. ... Sirhan's attorney, William Pepper, has said he believes a second gunman shot Kennedy. He's also suggested that Sirhan was brainwashed. But Prizmich Wednesday said he wasn't impressed with Sirhan blaming others for all of his problems. "You have made statements that someone set you up, the CIA set you up, the DA set you up. Everything that occurred in a negative way to you, you say it was someone else's fault," he said. "We believe you minimize your conduct." MK ULTRA is the only reasonable explanation. Sirhan remembers being in the kitchen just not the actual shooting. I'm Amazed that nobody can/will believe the truth. Sirhan was six feet in front of RFK when the shot was fired into the back of his head from a distance of 1 inch. A patsy in the pantry for sure. It looks like the shooter got away with it...again. "Sirhan said he did not remember being accompanied by anyone when he shot Kennedy. Dan Moldea interviewed Sirhan. Moldea stated, "Other than his memory of the room where the teletype was clicking away, Sirhan says that he doesn't remember talking to anyone at the hotel who claimed to have talked to him. 'I just remember the bright lights in the big room. Then somebody referred me to the kitchen for coffee.' He remembered that, as he had stood by the coffee urn, a woman in a plain white dress was also there adding, 'I don't remember any woman in a polka dot dress.' " However, there were several witnesses who claimed they had observed Sirhan in the pantry next to a tray stacker and he was talking to a girl who had been wearing a polka dot dress. (Author's Note: Conspiracy advocate Philip Melanson said all the descriptions of the girl's dress were "characterized rather similarly in terms of color and size" – this was misleading.) Security guard Jack Merrit said he had seen a girl in a "polka dot dress" immediately prior to the shooting. Richard Houston, who was in the pantry at the time of the shooting, said he had seen a "girl in a black and white polka dot dress with ruffles around the neck." Houston said he heard the girl say "We shot him" as she ran from the pantry.
