You know OP I think your intentions are in the right place, it's just that I'm not convinced this 'light worker' stuff works i.e helps the planet (in a broad sense). I have spent the last few years spending most of my money and time helping other people. Yes it makes a difference in those individuals lives but really, the world heads onward into calamity regardless, and those who do little or nothing for other people get rewarded with the physical riches of this earth. I do what I do, not because I am expecting an outcome but because it is deep within me that this is the right thing to do, however ultimately it may be worthless...time will tell I guess.

This thread on the link should answer the question. Light-workers are not in a organised group or so and if they are or would be inlighted too than even better.
There is a rule in the universe what you give out comes back 4 times (quantum)
more back to you. Every single thought counts, everything done. So just imagine someone doing light-work, sending light and love to all people and all places on earth, this coming back to them too, it feels great! And is a great thing to do!
And the more light and love there is on earth, the higher the vibration gets on earth, the less it will shake when mother earth is giving birth (to herself, to new earth). Those things written here are true. It's written in many places, people seeing and communicating with spiritual world (with spiritual guide, guardian angel, Mary, Great Brootherhood (ascendet masters as Konfucius, Laotse, Buddha, Jesus etc.), saying it and even woken up children - indigo children, crystal children, rainbow children - depends on what colour they have mostly in their auras) - also they telling about those things. The change is so very close to happen - in the next few months - the more people will help - the less it will shake!!

It is TRUE and it is going to be most wonderfull on earth. A lot of people see it.
