As the moon watches

sometimes time tells him which threads

to unravel and which ones are just fine

and sometimes just fine

has its questions about too much of anything

ways that can be not really such a good thing

yet how can there be to much of a good thing



somewhere between forwards and backwards

the sun sets the sun rises as the moon watches

light soothes the dark then dark soothes the light

with more todays and yesterdays and tomorrows



and these are the crayons we have to color with

and time is the canvas we paint our pictures on

using our minds to carry the images of ourselves

cluttered with temptations and cravings and fears



then theres love thats found theres love thats lost

then theres the love that lives in the in betweens

or those times when sweet doesn’t feel so sweet

like a lull looking for an aby so as to feel complete



and how the passion of rush is in the energy burst

how good or bad that can feel in a moment of need

then theres how the passion is used to fool the pain

or how passion can be for the pleasures of pleasure



in ways differences and their differences play it out

experiences are paths to understandings, if we see

life as the larger picture we’ve painted our self into

while the reality of painting waits for us to figure out

if we painted our way in it,

should it be obvious that we can paint our way out



we don’t need any hidden tricks or slights of minds

and all those ways that come in handy for running

after all the pleadings done and nothings changed

could be time to like ourself enough to trust ourself



and carry on from that dimensional reality of ourself

something went wrong we didn’t do, was done to us

chain reactioning us into mistakes that weren’t right

wounded selves scarred by the scars of self blame

forgotten to the balance in energies of clear thinking
