On March 3 there was also a 4.0 at the top portion of the Juan de Fuca off the coast of Vancouver Island. [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] Hope they don't continue into a swarm. That zone is capable of a 9 plus that would likely affect Ca/Or/Wa plus B.C. There was a offshore swarm there last May with two eqs getting up to 5.1 and stopped. |
