Thanks TS, one should never assume. That makes things alot more interesting! Yeah it was on solar soft even posted a link, damn I'm getting rusty! There are several possible sources: NOAA ARs 1543 and 1546, an active region behind the East limb approximately at the same latitude than AR 1546, and an emerging AR, yet unnumbered at about N07E30. A C4.7 flare occurred today, Aug. 17th peaking at 08:37 UT, but it is not clear yet where the source region is. AR 1543 produced a C3.6 flare on Aug. 16th (peak time 13:16UT). It was associated with a halo CME of moderate velocity (est. < 400 km/s). We do not expect significant geomagnetic incidence from this event, and we foresee that geomagnetic activity will be dominated on Aug. 18 th by the effects of a coronal hole, leading to period of active conditions." Peace I posted that weird I meant it was day for me when your posts were awesome,Imissed them while at work! I feel off today, my posts are screwy, can't find info in my favs. We haven't had Trails for weeks, then after lunch it was insane. They were everywhere, I think they react with me in a weird way, always feel sluggish or it could be the energy they are trying to block? All I know its nice to have some solar pick up!
