March 5:

coronal mass ejection (CME) attributed to the M5.2 flare event today around AR 3234 is now visible in the latest coronagraph imagery. The CME appears to be fairly impressive, however again due to the location now behind the west limb, it will be directed away from Earth.

march 4:

A long duration M-Flare currently M4.0+ is in progress around AR 3234 off the west limb. The brightening follows an eruption off plasma seen in AIA 193 imagery.

THE SOLAR WIND IS BLOWING FAST: Earth has entered a stream of solar wind blowing faster than 600 km/s (1.3 million mph). This could cause geomagnetic unrest or even a minor G1-class geomagnetic storm around the poles today. Arctic sky watchers should be alert for auroras. Aurora alerts: SMS Text.

SUNSPOT MEITOSIS: Sunspot AR3245 is splitting in two. This 24-hour movie from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory shows the sunspot's primary core dividing like a eukaryotic cell as it turns toward Earth:



The bright, linear gap between the sunspot's two halves is known as a "light bridge." It measures 20,000 km from end to end.

The nature of light bridges is not fully understood. They often herald the break-up of a sunspot, with jets of plasma shooting up from the chasm as the sunspot decays. Some research suggests that magnetic fields at the base of a light bridge are busy cross-crossing and reconnecting--the same explosive process that sparks solar flares.

Does this mean sunspot AR3245 will explode--or quietly fall apart? No one can say. Readers with solar telescopes are encouraged to monitor developments.

where I learned more about Mytosis as it applies to our
HUMAN CREATION in the womb with a eukaryotic cell division.

Solar Activity 24 hr Summary...

Solar activity returned to low levels. Region 3242 (N10W02,
Esc/beta-delta) continued to be the largest and most magnetically
complex group on the visible solar disk, gaining a delta configuration
in the penumbra of its intermediate grouping. This AR was responsible
for a C1.6 flare at 07/1250 UTC. Region 3245 (S22E22, Dki/beta) grew
slightly, developed trailing spots, and was the culprit of a C4 flare at
07/0239 UTC. Region 3243 (N18W89, Dao/beta) nearly rotated out of view,
making proper classification impossible, and produced at C4.7 flare at
07/0405 UTC - largest of the period. Region 3249 (S12E75, Hsx/alpha)
became visible, emerging from the eastern limb, and was numbered for
tracking. The remaining ARs were unremarkable in comparison.

No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

.Forecast...
Solar activity is expected to continue at low levels with a chance for
isolated R1-R2 (Minor-Moderate) radio blackouts and a slight chance for
an R3 (Strong) radio blackout through 10 Mar primarily due to Regions
3242 and 3245.

TWELVE numbered sunspot regions! I never saw this many before.....

AR3242 (BGD) is now directly facing Earth. I believe that AR3245 is the remnants of 3190 and now on its 4th rotation. This, if true, longevity is almost unheard of for sunspots. This spot has disappointed us too many times....

I recall the author of "God's Day of Judgment"--the researcher
Ben Davidson associate, Douglas Vogt--mentioned in his
video the year 1957 was an especially SUN SPOT-ACTIVE
year (several groupings of 12 each during the year
totally over 800 sunspots!) Here is a quick report on

(By the way, he reports the flare was thousands of KM's
long (in miles that's over 12,000 miles) but it is
difficult to really measure when it goes OFF CAMERA

MINOR CME IMPACT POSSIBLE TODAY: Minor geomagnetic storms are possible later today or tomorrow when a CME is expected to sideswipe Earth's magnetic field. The CME was launched from the sun on March 6th, the aftermath of an M5.8-class solar flare near the sun's northwestern limb. Only a weak glancing blow is expected, but even weak CME impacts can spark Arctic auroras.

TWO filaments erupted in the SW quadrant today producing 2 CMEs. The second one was big. SoHO hasn't updated since but STEREO cor2 diff movie clearly shows both CMEs.

First filament eruption CME was directed west of Earth and was also associated with a C2.5 flare:

NOAA/SWPC Commentary-

Plage Region 3240 (S09, L=253) produced at C2.5/Sf flare at 10/1333 UTC.
Associated with this flare was a fast moving CME off the W limb, first
visible in LASCO C2 and STEREO-A COR2 imagery at 10/1336 UTC.
Preliminary analysis and model output suggests no Earth-directed
component is present.

A filament eruption in the SW quadrant was observed in GOES SUVI/304
imagery beginning after ~10/1600 UTC. A subsequent CME signature was
observed in SOHO/LASCO C2 imagery around 10/1712 UTC. Analysis and
modeling of the event is ongoing.

The second eruption produced a much bigger and slower CME. I would give it a 60% chance of a glancing blow at Earth. It was a Type II asymmetric halo ejection.

I may be wrong, but it seems like 2 months since the x-ray level was this low. It's even more remarkable when you consider that we have 10 or more sunspots on the disk. The biggest spot is almost directly facing Earth (AR3245).
