As you can also see, EQ activity is up to moderate levels in significant areas such as offshore California and offshore Oregon. Hawaii had as many as 50 small quakes this weekend, but none seemed very powerful.

The fact that we have 3 new volcanic eruptions going right now tells me there is definitely something happening. That makes 10 so far that I know of.

Damn! I am glad I have earthquake insurance:) Actually fairly reasonable cost considering the coverage.

The three new volcanoes popping up this weekend, 1 in hawaii, 2 in Guatemala; show that things are starting to produce volcanic activity closer and closer to mainland U.S.A.
