TXGal, shame on you,

Your mother in Heaven, both of them are crying at your
Catholic hating threads. Fallen away Catholics are so
bitter.

I guess you'll have to paste from another unbiased thread,
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1288597

No one has been judged yet. They are all sleeping in their graves. How can you call me hateful, but not call what these evil men did??

These were YOUR popes!!!
 Quoting: TXGal4Truth

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your mother should have explained this to you long ago. People don't sleep in graves! They're dead, they've left their bodies.

It's like telling someone Santa Claus doesn't exist! lol
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1290006

The spirit has left. But the flesh body does lie in the grave. And my mother is dead.
 Quoting: TXGal4Truth

I was just teasing! lol ;>

But you do know that the flesh body eventually disintegrates and is consumed by maggots and other creatures and eventually ends up spread out and distributed all over the world, and integrated into other forms of life. We actually end up eating vegetables, fruit or meat that has been nourished this way without even knowing it.

Mary, I believe she is baiting you, and you have taken the bate, you big fish you.
 Quoting: kat

You don't believe what is coming but I do. I'll defend the
faith and reply to the lies. I am hoping they'll recall
at a certain point.

kat, do you every worry about the loss of souls,

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1288597

I do not. Souls are never lost. We have lessons to learn and some have a harder time learning them. It takes a lot of time and experiences sometimes.

I believe in a loving God who has ultimate patience and kindness with us. He knows who are his own and he lets us make mistakes to learn from. I also do not believe that heaven is the ultimate goal. There are existences far further and above what we might try to conceive as "heaven."

And I do not worry about people who have made their own bad choices. They are their own choices, free will. But God knows their heart. They may have to live many, many lifetimes to learn their lessons. I hope for them they do not get stuck in a loop they can never get out of.

What does concern me is that you are up all night in a state of fear feeding your fear to the demons. You realize that this is what they feed on? I have said before you are into fear porn. I would love to see you break free from that and have a more peaceful life. You are torturing yourself with this stuff. And then you fight with people, more negative energy You play into the hands of the negative powers who are fighting for control of the earth during these times. You are their tool. It would be wonderful if you could realize that, and stop.
 Quoting: kat

I asked kat kindly I thought an important question and I get a rant. She is angry because she can't keep her stories straight and hates I questioned why does she tell them? Kat arrives as always to post her negative snide remarks for me and about the faith.

She's stated at GLP, she's a baptized Catholic, fallen away, another reason.

Oh my, reincarnation in a Christian thread. And Koo koo New Age. I post the messages from Heaven kat, they are not fearful. They are a help for these times and they strengthen my faith and I share them to give hope, we need them. hearts Defending the faith is not fighting.
 Quoting: Mary 1288597

It sure looks and feels like fighting from this vantage point. Especially with all the name calling and insulting you do.

You sure did not like my answer. It was not a rant. It was an explanation.

And I am also a baptized Jehovah's Witness. I have been many places in my quest for spiritual food in my long life. That one I chose as an adult. As an infant I had no choice of being baptized in a RCC by the people who were my legal keepers. I obviously am not a roman catholic by belief.

And the messages are fearful, and of questionable sources. They are written in that pseudo-pious language to appeal to RC spiritual taste, or how you think God would talk. They are very creepy. When you post a protestant one the language is very different. Don't you find that suspect? So what heaven are these messages coming from? The astral plane most likely. It is the realm directly above us. Might as well get out your ouija board and channel one for yourself. Why be left out???

Negative snide remarks indeed. Roman catholics hate questions they cannot answer. It is why they have a huge load of dogma that can be hurled at you at anytime so the real questions do not have to be answered, the development of which has taken centuries in order to keep various populations well under control and in fear. If you say it long enough and loud enough brainwashing happens. The brainwashing did not work on some of us.
No good deed goes unpunished.

I have been following the conversation here and it is no surprise to me that Catholics just cannot see the light.
I used to be a Catholic and most of my family still are. As my aunt said to me one day, after I told her that the apparitions could not be the Mary of the Bible, and this is what she said to me " I don't read the Bible I listen to the Pope" I was speechless for about half a minute.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1289826

I was a Catholic as well. What really turned me off was that priests do not seem to want people to read the bible. There is no such thing as "bible study" only the "catechism". I knew from a very young age that something was being hidden from me.
 Quoting: KimmieAnnaJones

I left cathoicism when I was 14.....this after learning about the various ways that catholicism differed from the scriptures. Also, since my so-called "confirmation," and learning first-hand that it was considered sinful for a person to interpret scriptures outside of what a "priest" would interpret, I felt sure in my heart of the same thing....that the truth of God was not supposed to be kept from people. And that - if the scriptures taught against graven images, and catechism taught against people interpreting scripture....well, I did the math.

See? Religion can be funny 1rof1
 Quoting: C21H30O2/2C-Ided

My husband was raised extreme pentecostal. I was raised catholic. Both of us left our respective religions at a very young age. However, some things stick with a person, you know?

A few years ago, we were broke and looking for a way to spend a warm autumn evening with our little ones. I suggested we stroll through the local catholic church parking lot where the annual fall festival was going on. I thought the lights and sounds etc., would please the kids.

As we walked, pushing the double stroller, we passed the various fund-raising booths whose wares were being raffled. Among the quilts and bath supply gift baskets being raffled, there was the Men's Club offering of "The Wheel-barrow of Booze." So much hard-liqour had been donated that the wheel-barrow wasn't big enough to hold it. Many bottles were placed on the ground and on tables next to the wheel-barrow. We were told by those manning the booth that if we won the raffle, they would help us carry the winnings out to our car.

Next, we passed the beer kiosk. After that, we passed the poker tables. Keep in mind that my husband came from a strict pentecostal background - he had no knowledge of catholicism at all.

After a while, I noticed him stopping and looking around, craning his head and stretching to look over the crowds of people. I asked him what was wrong. He said, "I'm looking for the hooker booth."

Yeah - religion CAN be funny!tounge

==================================

Sorry to hear that. One good thing about Catholics, they will say prayers for the diseased. You can moan and groan about many things, but I think they got that doctrine right.

Apocalypse is the Catholic name for the book of Revelations. THat lifting of the veil will show how Luke 18:8 applies to everyone.

[link to matt1618.freeyellow.com]

This is prophesied in Malachi, which speaks of John the Baptist's coming, foretelling of what Jesus would do in the new covenant. This is shown in Malachi 3:1-3:

1: "Behold, I send my messenger to prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the LORD of hosts. 2: But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? "For he is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap; 3: he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, till they present right offerings to the LORD.

That's one major doctrine the Protestants have dropped, along with the 20 centuries old Christian doctrine against birth control.

I asked more than once for Protestants to reply to
1 Corinthians 11:29. Never a reply. Always up at GLP,
let us trash Paul because his books in the Gospel conflict with the revolters.

~ ~ ~ ~

well, im not protestant. but i assume your trying to apply a verse about the Lords supper to the word itself in terms of devouring the word, our daily bread. the Lords supper is with actual wine and bread, and we are to do this in rememberance of him. our daily bread, the word of God is not touched by this verse. it would be better to read the whole chapter and not disect it in the future, a concordance can only do so much.

 Quoting: Sword0fGideon

Thank you SwordOfGideon for responding to my question for
Non-Catholics concerning 1 Corinthinians 11:29.

1 Corinthians 11:27-29
Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. [29] For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.

The Bible didn't exist when Paul wrote these words! Our
daily bread is not Scripture. Someone else said the same
to deny Our Lord's words that we must eat His body and
drink His blood. They actually said Jesus means we "digest"
Scripture. The poster couldn't bring himself to use the word "eat" because he knows how ridiculous his interpretation is. We must "eat" the Word of God.

The truth again, when Jesus said "Do this in remembrance
of Me." he was addressing the Apostles. He was commanding
them to do the same. The Apostles were the first priests, Jesus gave them the power to change bread and wine into Our
Lord's body and blood.

All the prideful men who broke away from the Church Jesus
established could no longer confect the Eucharist so deny
it to this day.

Jesus didn't say "This is a symbol of My body" He said
"This is My body." Jesus repeats the same many times in the Gospel. Our Lord didn't run after those who walked away to say to them "no, I meant it's only a symbol."

Paul follows Christ, it is the "body" of Our Lord and reminds those he is writing they bring judgment on themselves not discerning it is the "body" of Our Lord.
All the denying threads mocking Paul, this is one reason
why and it's major.

You can't remain a non-Catholic Christian. To settle for
heretical teachings of men, to only desire grape juice and
crackers is beyond me when you can receive Our Lord. "Spirit and life" Jesus means you have to have a higher
understanding of God's plan. Our Lord wants you to believe by faith because you don't see a change, He is present
in the consecrated host.

Ask God in prayer for the faith to believe.

it is kinda dangerous to my thinking, because at the very end of revelation, theres a warning for all to read. and i know everyone will say that its only to do with revelations technically, but what if God both knowing and seeing all, had designed the bible this way before it came into being and perhaps that warning was reserved for the last book at the end of the bible? the bible which paul is mentioned alot in? seems to me questioning paul anyways, he died with peter.

travel in the light you know, for he comes quickly.
Christians have had to face and realize their own sins, and feel compelled to try and help others as well.

This chant of Holier than thou is wrong and is taught by others making you think what is cool or acceptable to them.

The thought of "believe as i do" is strongly in an unbelievers life, because they feel they will be ridiculed by their friends.

Every falsehood a unbeliver weilds, is merely a reflection of the obstacles that unbeliever must face from his very own peers.

Unbelievers are the true followers, they are dedicated to fear of what other people think of them.

And because of this, they are ashamed of themselves, but wall themselves up to feel comfortable and safe, assuring themselves with rationality and laughter.

Which is insanity!

Matthew 4:4 - But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 6:11 - Give us this day our daily bread...

Matthew 16:11 - How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

Bread, in these verses, and in just about all verses, is referring to all words that proceed out of the mouth of God.

Now - if you know that we are to listen to and obey God's words to us - every day....then Strong's becomes a little easier to understand.

It referrences the "shewbread" and the "tabernacle," etc.

on Catholic people.

p.s. After someone pressed TXGal, she admits a dead person's
spirit isn't in the grave only their body. She has to go
further to explain where is that "spirit" now? The "spirit"
our soul leaves the body at death and will not be reunited
with the body until the Final Judgment. Where does our
soul go until the Final Judgment?

Happy you love Paul Gideon, He is one holy and wise man,
apostle and saint. All I shared from the heart about the Eucharist you do not comment on...and as I have stated previously, Non-Catholic Christians will not touch 1 Corinthians 11:29.

Paul believes in the Eucharist. Protestants ignore Paul's words and most of Scripture because they follow man-made teachings that conflict with Scripture.

Become Catholic before the Great Warning and God shows
you the Holy Eucharist, Christ's presence in the sacred
consecrated host is true. It's my prayer but I realize for
you to change now would be a miracle. Please keep an open mind and heart when God's gift of the Great Warning happens, okay?

Honestly though most of us know of the perversity of certain "humans" and that catholics are not blameless, but isnt it a fact that certain Jewish sects perform circumcision by placing the childs penis in the Rabbi's
mouth, who then bites off the forskin.
This sounds like a very suspect religious rite and more like some pagan sacrifice.

And I guess that Jesus was a 7th Day Adventist too, since he continually made references to dead people as "sleeping", until the resurrection. In fact, the rest of the bible also makes it perfectly clear that people are totally unconscious of ANYTHING, from the moment of their death. The ONLY exceptions, are the special cases that were translated to heaven without seeing death, like Enoch and Elijah.

Question re the above quote! If the dead are sleeping does that mean Hitler isnt in Hell yet? and didn't Christ descend into Hell?
By the way, Hell is what you, the individaul spirit, expects it to be because in the next dimension truth will not be hidden, not even to one's self. Yea. when the physical ends so does the BS.
I think that we are all "sleeping" in this plane.

Re: **Many Popes Have Been Labeled The Most Evil Men In History. **
More than fifty Popes have shown themselves to be atheists or unbelievers. The history of the Popes records homosexuality, rape, murder, adultery, incest, drunkenness and selling religious offices and much more. The following examples are just scratching the surface as many of the Popes have been labelled as the most EVIL people in all history. To list all of the crimes from all the Popes in brief would be a list ten times bigger then this page. There is no way God would have this as His true Church. God flooded the Earth destroying all but eight people for far less then the atrocities of these Popes.

Pope Damasus I (366 - 384) for many various crimes. Persons who questioned any Church doctrine had their lands seized and family sacrificed through being tortured and burnt alive. Former female priests and their children were used as sex slaves to provide income for the Church. He was found guilty by 44 bishops of adultery but used his position to obstruct justice after which he murdered the bishops.

Pope Stephen VI (896 - 897) brought the dead body of former Pope Formosus (891 - 897) to trial, hacked off his decaying finger and had him dragged through the streets of Rome and thrown into the Tiber River.

Pope Sergius III (904 - 911) obtained his office by murder. He fathered several illegitimate children by Marozia who assassinated Pope Leo VI (928 - 929), and put her own teenage son (John XI) as Pope.

Pope John XII (955 - 964) is described in the Catholic encyclopaedia as a coarse, immoral man. The Catholic collection of the lives of the Popes, the “Liber Pontificalis” said: “He spent his entire life in adultery.” Catholic bishop Luitprand states that “he had no respect for single girls, married woman or widows - they were sure to be defiled by him.”

Pope Boniface VII (984 - 985) John XII and Leo VIII were described by the Bishop of Orleans as “monsters of guilt, reeking in blood and filth.”

Pope John XV (985 - 996) split the Churches finances among his relatives and was described as “covetous of filthy lucre and corrupt in all his acts.”

Pope Benedict IX (1033 - 1045) committed murders and adulteries in broad daylight, robbed pilgrims and was regarded as a hideous criminal. The people drove him out of Rome: The Catholic encyclopaedia says, “He was a disgrace to the chair of Peter.”

Pope Urban II (1088-1099) for many crimes against humanity. His worst was during 1096-1099 where approximately 10,000,000 innocent men, women and especially children were murdered and their property stolen under the legal approval of Pope “Blessed” Urban II. The wholesale slaughter of innocent people was for nothing more than greed which included Belgrade (1096), the chief city of Orthodox Church after Constantinople, Yugoslavia (1096), Turkey, Syria, Antioch (1098) and Palestine.

Pope Adrian IV (1154-1159) receiving profits from crime. England Monarchs paid the Roman Catholic Church an annual fee for the “legal” and perpetual enslavement of Ireland by Papal Bull Laudabiliter until the time of Henry VIII.
Pope Alexander III decreed in 1170 that wills had to be made in front of a priest, or excommunication (cutting off from Church and sentence to hell) would result.

Pope Innocent III (1198 - 1216) promoted the Inquisition, surpassing all his predecessors in killing over one million people.

Pope Boniface VIII (1294 - 1303) The Catholic encyclopaedia states, “Scarcely any possible crime was omitted - heresy, gross and unnatural immorality, idolatry, magic, simony ... his whole pontificate was one record of evil.” Dante visited Rome and described the Vatican as a “sewer of corruption” and assigned Boniface VII, Nicholas III and Clement V to the “lowest parts of hell.” He proposed to be an atheist and in 1302 issued the “Unum Sanctum” officially declaring the Roman Catholic Church as the only true Church, outside of which on one can be saved.

Pope John XXIII (1410 - 1415) was accused by 37 clergy witnesses of fornication, adultery, incest, sodomy, simony, theft and murder. It was proved by a legion of witnesses that he had seduced and violated 300 nuns. He kept a harem at Boulogne of 200 girls. He was publicly called the devil incarnate. He has been called the most depraved criminal who ever sat on the papal throne.

Pope Eugene IV (1431 - 1447) condemned Joan of Arc to be burned alive as a witch, but Pope Benedict IV (1919) declared her a saint.

Pope Pius II (1458 - 1464) fathered many illegitimate children and taught others to do likewise.

Pope Paul II (1464 - 1471) maintained a house full of concubines.
Pope Sixtus IV (1471 - 1484) financed his wars by selling Church offices to the highest bidders.

Pope Innocent VII (1484 - 1492) fathered 16 illegitimate children by various women.

Pope Alexander VI (1492 - 1503) committed incest with his two sisters and daughter. On October 31, 1501 he conducted the worst ever sex orgy in the Vatican.

Pope Paul III (1534 - 1549) as a cardinal fathered three sons and a daughter and sought advice from astrologers.

Pope Leo X (1513 - 1521) the Catholic encyclopaedia says “was possessed by an insatiable love of pleasure, revelry and carousing.” Luther visited Rome and said: “No one can imagine what sins and infamous actions are committed in Rome.” A saying was: “If there is a hell, Rome is built over it.”
Pope Joan was a female Pope whose name was changed later to Pope Zacharias. Luther, on visiting Rome reported her statue in a back street, and John Huss referred to her in his defence as the Council of Constance and this went unchallenged. She died in childbirth while in a public procession.

Pope Pius IX (1846-1878) for many crimes including political assassination. Pope Pius IX did authorize the funding and mission that resulted in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln on April 15, 1865.

Pope Pius XII (1939-1958) of the single greatest crime against humanity in the history of all humanity (1939-1945). He handed to Hitler and Himmler a complete blueprint for the systematic elimination of key non-Catholic minorities across Europe as well as the establishment of death camps for their murder. He instructed that ethnic Jews and other heretics were not simply to be murdered but ritually sacrificed by being burnt alive, consistent with their Church law on the penalty of heresy. See quotes further below. He aided and abetted known war criminals (1946) such as personally ensuring the safety and escape of Ante Pavelic who was head of one of the most brutal and satanistic regimes in human history called the Croatian Ustashi. The Catholic Ustashi murdered at least 600,000 people in ways that can only be described as purely satanic including ritualistic cannibalism, crucifixion, live dismemberment, burning alive and excessive torture.
The “great schism” of 1378 lasted 50 years, where Italian and French Popes cursed each other. Is this the same morally pure Church that Christ left to preach the gospel? When confronted with such evil papal history, the Catholic Church, which claims “infallibility”, teaches that “A sinful Pope ... remains a member of the Church, and ... from whom we may not withdraw obedience.” Catholic encyclopaedia Volume 4 page 435.

HOLY FATHER?? I think not!

Dear Friend,

Yes, I personally know of a person who 'claims' that he is the next (or last) Pope, after Benedict. I really hope he doesn't take the 'Seat of Peter.' Not a good person. The Vatican and I have a lot of issues between us...

so you all will remember, recall and I hope change.

Your words in bold, the very mature constantly repeated one sentence rebuttal. tomato

Explain to everyone here which of the non-Catholic Christian
sects in the thousands, a new one started every week, which one is God going to reveal to the world is His true

Which one, post it. Please. hf

Re: **Many Popes Have Been Labeled The Most Evil Men In History. **

 Quoting: Mary 1288597

God is the author and finisher of my faith, my fate is in his hands, much as my faith is.

as for my thoughts on paul, i love the guy, and i also see myself in him as well, its why i relate to him so easily. and i wont deny paul cause ultimately God is in control, so despite anything anyone might say about translations, the books selected, or even wordage, i will lean against that bible for support because i know and have full faith Gods will is by far greater than all of mankinds will and that the bible was put together in a way thats pleasing to him, that the books selected are the ones he himself selected and that the bible, regardless of anything anyone says is more than sufficient to save a sinner from hell and bring them home to the Father by itself without any help from men.

it is kinda dangerous to my thinking, because at the very end of revelation, theres a warning for all to read. and i know everyone will say that its only to do with revelations technically, but what if God both knowing and seeing all, had designed the bible this way before it came into being and perhaps that warning was reserved for the last book at the end of the bible? the bible which paul is mentioned alot in? seems to me questioning paul anyways, he died with peter.

travel in the light you know, for he comes quickly.
 Quoting: Sword0fGideon

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1288597

im gonna be quite honest with you, i dont understand eucharist. my background in spirituality is non existant. if you want to know, my dad was searching alot when i was growing up, there was strange ideas, religions, philosophies, witchcraft/occult and the closest thing to an organized religion was fundamentalist mormon. somehow i blocked? everything out i guess, i remember little bits and pieces when something jogs my memory but for the most part i didnt believe any of it and it was forgotten.

when i started searching i went to Jesus, and the closest i could get was the new testament. it was the words that spoke to my heart with truth, it was the desire for Jesus to come into my life that caused me to seek baptism, and its the desire to please him that always gets me into these discussions with church raised people who speak of things i cant comprehend or understand.

my belief doesnt lie in a church, in the final day of judgement, i with Jesus will stand at the judgement not me my pastor and Jesus. i became a king and priest, i have the spiritual authority in my house, i became a child of the most high God. and i will haft to give an account.

i am not going to become anything because i am already transformed, perhaps it isnt pleasing to anyones ideas of spirituality/christianity, but i think i am on the path thats right for me. unlike many, i wont be starting a new religion, cause i think everyone is crazy and i dont want to compete.

i dont trust any teachings from any men, its always better to go to the source, i have found the bible is actually like a garden, everytime you enter you gather something different. and i dont think christianity was ever ment to be an organized religion, it was ment to be a way of life, a relationship with the Lord. many would counter, not to forsake the gathering of the saints but i would tell you, what do you think we are doing now?

and i know you may think my poor soul is lost, but from my point of view. the wide road goes to hell and many are called and few are chosen.

theres a problem that no one ever see's, and it should horrify you and everyone who has ever lived while Jesus has been away, i picked up on it immediately and i found myself examining everything. my faith is like a great pearl, precious. but the worrying comment from Jesus himself? He wondered if trully he would find faith when He returned. this is a scary thing for the Son of God to say, Jesus is the spirit of prophesy, he has access to see and know all, and yet he wonders about faith when he returns. well, i am alarmed, because faith is so hard for the Lord to see in this age apparently, which tells me organized religions arent the way to go.

work out your own salvation with great fear and trembling.

Re: **Many Popes Have Been Labeled The Most Evil Men In History. **
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1288597

The spirit which you and i have is the breath of life. That is all. Go breathed the breath of life into man and he became a living soul.

spirit + body = soul

Man (mankind) is a living soul.

Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Eze.18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:the soul that sins, it shall die.

Ecc.9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing;

Ps.37:10,20 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be:..But the wicked shall perish,...they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Mat.10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Nobody has immortality yet, and nobody goes to heaven without resurrection with new heavenly bodies.

Job 19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.

1 Cor.15:50-54 Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Heavenly bodies as Jesus had, not some disembodied spirit or soul.

Luke 24:34-43 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the middle of them, and said to them, Peace be to you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said to them, Why are you troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have you here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them.
