I asked more than once for Protestants to reply to
1 Corinthians 11:29. Never a reply. Always up at GLP,
let us trash Paul because his books in the Gospel conflict with the revolters.

well, im not protestant. but i assume your trying to apply a verse about the Lords supper to the word itself in terms of devouring the word, our daily bread. the Lords supper is with actual wine and bread, and we are to do this in rememberance of him. our daily bread, the word of God is not touched by this verse. it would be better to read the whole chapter and not disect it in the future, a concordance can only do so much.

Thank you SwordOfGideon for responding to my question for
Non-Catholics concerning 1 Corinthinians 11:29.

1 Corinthians 11:27-29
Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. [29] For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.

The Bible didn't exist when Paul wrote these words! Our
daily bread is not Scripture. Someone else said the same
to deny Our Lord's words that we must eat His body and
drink His blood. They actually said Jesus means we "digest"
Scripture. The poster couldn't bring himself to use the word "eat" because he knows how ridiculous his interpretation is. We must "eat" the Word of God.

The truth again, when Jesus said "Do this in remembrance
of Me." he was addressing the Apostles. He was commanding
them to do the same. The Apostles were the first priests, Jesus gave them the power to change bread and wine into Our
Lord's body and blood.

All the prideful men who broke away from the Church Jesus
established could no longer confect the Eucharist so deny
it to this day.

Jesus didn't say "This is a symbol of My body" He said
"This is My body." Jesus repeats the same many times in the Gospel. Our Lord didn't run after those who walked away to say to them "no, I meant it's only a symbol."

Paul follows Christ, it is the "body" of Our Lord and reminds those he is writing they bring judgment on themselves not discerning it is the "body" of Our Lord.
All the denying threads mocking Paul, this is one reason
why and it's major.

You can't remain a non-Catholic Christian. To settle for
heretical teachings of men, to only desire grape juice and
crackers is beyond me when you can receive Our Lord. "Spirit and life" Jesus means you have to have a higher
understanding of God's plan. Our Lord wants you to believe by faith because you don't see a change, He is present
in the consecrated host.

Ask God in prayer for the faith to believe.

God is the author and finisher of my faith, my fate is in his hands, much as my faith is.

as for my thoughts on paul, i love the guy, and i also see myself in him as well, its why i relate to him so easily. and i wont deny paul cause ultimately God is in control, so despite anything anyone might say about translations, the books selected, or even wordage, i will lean against that bible for support because i know and have full faith Gods will is by far greater than all of mankinds will and that the bible was put together in a way thats pleasing to him, that the books selected are the ones he himself selected and that the bible, regardless of anything anyone says is more than sufficient to save a sinner from hell and bring them home to the Father by itself without any help from men.

it is kinda dangerous to my thinking, because at the very end of revelation, theres a warning for all to read. and i know everyone will say that its only to do with revelations technically, but what if God both knowing and seeing all, had designed the bible this way before it came into being and perhaps that warning was reserved for the last book at the end of the bible? the bible which paul is mentioned alot in? seems to me questioning paul anyways, he died with peter.

travel in the light you know, for he comes quickly.

Happy you love Paul Gideon, He is one holy and wise man,
apostle and saint. All I shared from the heart about the Eucharist you do not comment on...and as I have stated previously, Non-Catholic Christians will not touch 1 Corinthians 11:29.

Paul believes in the Eucharist. Protestants ignore Paul's words and most of Scripture because they follow man-made teachings that conflict with Scripture.

Become Catholic before the Great Warning and God shows
you the Holy Eucharist, Christ's presence in the sacred
consecrated host is true. It's my prayer but I realize for
you to change now would be a miracle. Please keep an open mind and heart when God's gift of the Great Warning happens, okay?

im gonna be quite honest with you, i dont understand eucharist. my background in spirituality is non existant. if you want to know, my dad was searching alot when i was growing up, there was strange ideas, religions, philosophies, witchcraft/occult and the closest thing to an organized religion was fundamentalist mormon. somehow i blocked? everything out i guess, i remember little bits and pieces when something jogs my memory but for the most part i didnt believe any of it and it was forgotten.

when i started searching i went to Jesus, and the closest i could get was the new testament. it was the words that spoke to my heart with truth, it was the desire for Jesus to come into my life that caused me to seek baptism, and its the desire to please him that always gets me into these discussions with church raised people who speak of things i cant comprehend or understand.

my belief doesnt lie in a church, in the final day of judgement, i with Jesus will stand at the judgement not me my pastor and Jesus. i became a king and priest, i have the spiritual authority in my house, i became a child of the most high God. and i will haft to give an account.

i am not going to become anything because i am already transformed, perhaps it isnt pleasing to anyones ideas of spirituality/christianity, but i think i am on the path thats right for me. unlike many, i wont be starting a new religion, cause i think everyone is crazy and i dont want to compete.

i dont trust any teachings from any men, its always better to go to the source, i have found the bible is actually like a garden, everytime you enter you gather something different. and i dont think christianity was ever ment to be an organized religion, it was ment to be a way of life, a relationship with the Lord. many would counter, not to forsake the gathering of the saints but i would tell you, what do you think we are doing now?

and i know you may think my poor soul is lost, but from my point of view. the wide road goes to hell and many are called and few are chosen.

theres a problem that no one ever see's, and it should horrify you and everyone who has ever lived while Jesus has been away, i picked up on it immediately and i found myself examining everything. my faith is like a great pearl, precious. but the worrying comment from Jesus himself? He wondered if trully he would find faith when He returned. this is a scary thing for the Son of God to say, Jesus is the spirit of prophesy, he has access to see and know all, and yet he wonders about faith when he returns. well, i am alarmed, because faith is so hard for the Lord to see in this age apparently, which tells me organized religions arent the way to go.

work out your own salvation with great fear and trembling.
