Wisconsin Democrat Senators will be fined $100 A Day for each day in Illinois.

It's bad enough they are stuck in Illinois, now they have to pay for the privilege.

MADISON, Wis. -- The 14 Wisconsin Democratic senators who fled the state nearly three weeks ago now face $100 fines for each session day they miss.

Republicans in the Senate approved resolutions starting the fines on Wednesday without discussion.

Democrats left the state on Feb. 17 to avoid voting on a bill taking away most collective bargaining rights for nearly all public workers.
