You could probably rough it if that's your preference. I would start taking the ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) if it gets even a hair above that though.

In all seriousness I hope no one has effects of radiation and I pray the ones that do will be ok but when I first read the comment it made me LOL.

Remove your clothes and Go to your cats litterbox. Grab a few nuggets of cat poop and rub your nude body slowly with the poop. The nitrogen in the poop will act as a natural flu healing agent. do it now! That's it...yes. Thank you.

Take vitamin C 2000mg daily. Take it with a tall glass of orange juice. Drink a tumbler of orange juice before every meal. I would rather tough it out than take any drugs.

Take some ibuprophen for fuck's sake and feel better. Don't suffer with something like that if you don't have to.

I caved in for the advil just now - temp was up to 102.7 - I have been taking lots of vitamin c, garlic,green tea with honey and lemon, OJ, Apple juice, and elderberry. Not sure about the elderberry just in case it is swine - maybe I should stop that. Thanks for all the advice.

That's a pretty high fever, hope it gets under control soon. I just got over the flu myself.

If it stays that high for a few days or goes above 103. Get to the hospital.

Now all of us at once, send good Ju-Ju to OP, let us ease the pain with a little mass consciousness. :)

You can take up to 800mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours.

You can ALSO take (at the same time) a STRAIGHT ANALGESIC like acetaminophen up to 2000mg each 4 hours.

Never take asprin when taking either of those. This is my last resort combo when on my back. Next step is the doctors office if I can't tough it out with this OTC combo THAT IS SAFE for a limited number of days. Take food with both. Drink at least 16 oz of water with EACH medication application.
