Tsunami will end the Dollar

The Tsunami will end the reign of the US dollar.


Japan will sell off its supply of US debt to pay for the clean up and rebuild. It will have to sell at a discount in order to sell it all. Immediately the debt will have less value and other countries will sell theirs off at even less value in a panic to get rid of it.

Very quickly the US will find that it can not sell any new debt at all, except at large interest rates, and even that will not be enough by the end of the year, probably quicker.

If that isn't enough depression doom the US dollar will fall so out of favor that it will no longer be the universal money standard. Good bye and good night US.
